Kubica didn’t hit a guardrail end, two bolted pieces separated and the end of one of them went through his car.

I swear it’s as if people like you want someone to die just so you can grumble about how is good we still have “real racing” with “real men.”

They should also remove all trees, buildings, utility poles, ditches, culverts, fences, stone walls, and gates from every rally stage, then.

Rally should also remove the following dangerous items:

Hmm, I’m getting that now as well. Regardless that should be the working feed tomorrow when it’s happening live.

Aaaand I’m two rounds behind, looks like I’m not watching any live rounds this year..... :(

They found their barber through this guy.

I didn’t comment on the thread tree I’m referencing, I’m simply reporting the comments that followed the COTD.

The comments here.... thank you for proving your lack of industry involvement.

At 6:45 and 8:16 Richard mentions no temperature in the brakes.

Further down that comment thread someone pointed out a Golf would never get enough heat in the brakes to work properly, a valid comment because it can be hard to get enough heat with an F1 car, let alone a much slower vehicle.

I’ve run into a problem in recent years with Supercross, I rooted for Canard, Barcia, and Tomac when they were running Lites and now with them all on big bikes I can’t pick a favorite.

Ah, couldn’t see that from the video above, thanks for the info.

I was being completely sarcastic with my comment, quite a few F1 diehards have a vendetta against Pirelli and will find any excuse to criticise them, they will look at this and rather than say “Holy crap that’s a hard hit!” they’ll say “Look! The tire came off the rim! Clearly Pirelli tires are crap!”

I’m surprised more people aren’t throwing a hissy fit that the tire came off the rim, because clearly Pirelli can’t build a good tire if it can’t stay on the rim in a high-g wheel-first impact with the barriers.

Hopefull Webber doesn’t have food poisoning again like he did back in 2007 when the F1 race at Fuji was run through similar conditions, would hate to see him vomit in his helmet again.

There’s a mix of FWD and RWD machines, I read somewhere that there may be a few AWD machines as well but haven’t seen anything concrete on that.
