But this is a CAPITALIST death panel so Jesus approves.

I like Scalzi’s response
Literally the fucking people who were fearmongering over “socialist death panels” for seniors within extremely recent memory.
Stolen:
Wage earners are supposed to have 9 months of pay in reserve for emergencies, but corporations are so mismanaged that they are about to go bankrupt after two weeks of reduced profits.
“The Republican party has always shown that the lives they value are young, able-bodied, and ready to contribute to the economy”
Cool. Then he can ask if everyone else is willing to be hospitalized for the economy. 8o% of deaths may have been 65+, but the people hospitalized and in ICU’s are pretty evenly spread amongst age groups — apparently everybody’s been sharing that pain.
Amen - there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the Bell-Shepards owning some apartments. In fact, as rental housing stock in LA goes, you’re much better off having a celebrity couple like them for landlords (they’ll fix things, if only to avoid bad press) than some real estate investment ghoul like Steve Mnuchin who…
Shes probably pissed her landlord won’t and is taking it out on them.
Love that political party that makes a huge show of being “pro life” while encouraging the undesirables to die.
I’m not sure if Joan is attempting to be an agent provocateur or if she truly believes it’s wrong for anyone to own property and charge rent. Nevertheless, I don’t think we can all agree that accumulating rental profit from the wages of people likely making far, far less than you is at best a tad questionable.
My guess is, in reality, Dan Patrick would be about the last person to make the ultimate sacrifice for any reason. Rightists always talk a good game when others have to pay the price.
Yeah I thought that was really weird to have here. They took the step when so many corporate landlords aren’t doing shit. Like why are they being called out here?
But it should be easily agreed upon that accumulating rental profit from the wages of people likely making far, far less than you is at best a tad questionable.
I have no issues with Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard owning a building and I think they’re being really good landlords by not charging rent for April. It’s decent and I wish my apartment complex would do the same.

I mean... sometimes you need to carry stuff that is dirty, smelly, too tall to fit in a cuv, etc. Like carrying a motorcycle - not necessarily that big, or that heavy, but it’s a load that you would probably have a tough time loading and securing into a CUV.
It probably has more payload capacity than the crossovers or wagons, and is small enough to fit in a garage or tight spaces in urban areas.
Hi, I’m Jimmy from Jimmy’s Manure Delivery. All of our vehicles are Dodge Journeys, because they’re crap before we even load anything in them.
Deep thought: Now that everyone seems to drive crossovers, I wonder if there’s really much need for a small, entry-level pickup. It sounds appealing for some applications, but practically speaking most (truly) small pickups aren’t doing much that a wagon, CUV, or van can’t do.
What a dick.
