The enemy of my enemy... yada yada
Well guess what, people DON’T all agree on that. On the contrary, this story has proved to be very divisive among both women and men. You can’t just force other people to subscribe to your expansive legal opinions because you feel that consent ought to be more narrowly defined than it currently is.
No one—but you, apparently—is claiming that Aziz is a rapist for crying out loud. Nice job removing all gray area from the conversation.
I’m shocked this post doesn’t have more stars. Well said.
Christ... First you disingenuously mischaracterize and exaggerate the nature of the incident, and now you make an overt racial slur against white people. You seem real objective and reasonable.

True story. Here’s hoping Deadspin and other publications keep covering the legal saga so the bad publicity doesn’t get slowly forgotten by the masses.
Well sure, it’ll be a slam dunk case when/if it ever gets to trial. As I understand it, there’s lots of behind-the-scenes negotiation going on about MSU’s insurance coverage, amount of policy limits, etc., and whether USAG should be on the hook too. I have little doubt that the class action will eventually settle…
The lawyers for both defendants in the civil case are hard at work trying to play hot potato in the blame game (read: liability).
The “GHB Conference.”
