"The only faultless launch so far has been the Wii U."

I think one of the Wii U's biggest problems is reflected in this game, no one really knows what to do with the gamepad. It's the most unique feature of the console and I've only seen a handful of titles make good use of it. In past generations Nintendo forged ahead and really showed us how to put their consoles unique

Are you new to this games console thing? You have basically described every major console launch ever, a lot of hype and not much to show for it. It's become known that buying these things day one has become more investment in the future than anything. Stop raining on people's parades...they know this, they've made

You mean the rubber tabs meant to keep it from laying flat and improving airflow underneath and the single reported bad HDMI port? I need more statistically significant data before jumping to a conclusion.

Kotaku is literally the worst review website out there. Go to IGN for good reviews. I don't know why I even come here anymore. Kotaku has just become a place for the editor's to complain or make up their own news pretty much. They hardly give facts anymore, just tired controversial opinions. Sure it drums up traffic

I mean... I know... But...

So Battlefield AND Call of Duty got "Not Yets" (maybe yeses, haven't gone back to check) for doing EVERYTHING the same but Shadow Fall gets a No.

You're wrong and here's proof... Looking back at all the articles related to the PS4 or XB1 since the beginning of the month. the PS4 has had more dedicated articles almost all of which were either positive or simply informative. Meanwhile not only did the XB1 have fewer articles about 1/3rd of the Xbox One articles

But...Netflix, on default, auto-skips to the next episode anyway. Unless you can't handle the abject horror of 10 seconds of credits.

As someone with a psychology background, I do have to say that there are definitely things that are innate/inherent to humans. Nothing is entirely cultural and nothing is entirely innate. The nature vs. nurture debate is a little overblown in this regard. Some things are more culturally/environmentally influenced than

To people commenting on the article headline:

Zynga wants you to feel like their games are stolen.

Not that ironic seeing how it's the brand new CEO saying this. He wants to change EA.

There is, but I don't feel like taking my credit card out to buy it from Zynga.

Let’s just admit it. Battlefield 4 was never a game you were going to play for the single-player.

Review Roundup

This should've been called a Preview instead. 8-10hours on the major bulk of a game played in a non-public environment on a developer's server? And weapon unlocks and tactical varieties is a major chunk of multiplayer, I'm not sure its enough to warrant a review. Sure, I know Kotaku updates the reviews as it grows,

Thank you for this responsible and honest work. Someone needed to put this stuff out where prospective customers can see it, and you have done a kickass job of rounding it up. Much appreciated.

"You cant just flip a switch"

If there's one source I trust when it's comes to the video games it's major nelson.
