Streamers are in the pandering business, whether they like it or not. Their masters are their audience and YouTube, and anything that disrupts either of those relationships too much can essentially ruin their career.

Luke Smith as director? Hell yes. He proved himself with leading design on the Vault of Glass raid, then delivered again with The Taken King. He’s the right guy to lead the charge on Destiny 2.
The only part of the demo that wasn’t fine was the glacial-esque movement of those Stormtrooper blasters. Those lasers are slower than the text in the opening crawl

If someone at Ubisoft likes you, that would be quite a dramatic turn of events, no? :)
Determined to get the upper hand after the crank calls, McCoy left a flaming bag of shit at Kelly’s doorstep on Wednesday and poured sugar into his car’s gas tank during Thursday practice.
This should be a shop contest
I can understand the frustration with this reversal from the devs and I agree that Overkill had some piss poor communication skills in all this.
Is it just me, or does everything Konami does/says these days sound like a mafia racquet?
Legitimately one of the best video game TV ads I’ve seen. Right up there with the “Mad World” commercial for original Gears of War.
Is Donkey Kong Jungle Beat the game that requires those painfully-limited bongo peripherals?
Kickstarter needs to think about organizing game projects in different tiers that makes it clear what backers are getting into. nice catch...there's no way I would have recognized that was a Wiimote strap
As you can see from my avatar, I fully endorse this winning entrant.
Does anyone else consider FFXII as the best of the PS1/PS2 era Final Fantasy games? I rank it third behind FFIV and FFVI. Fantastic characters and political intrigue, plus I loved the flexibility of the gambit system.
Good article. Goes to show that it's human nature to cheat to get any type of advantage - doesn't matter if it's MLB or MLG. That doesn't mean it's right - it obviously is a fatal error in judgement for these players - but it's the same story again and again that people at the top levels will risk everything to get…
This article could have been hilarious. Instead, we get a one-note blog post with zero nuanced humor, which makes it seem more like a personal attack on the family than a tongue-in-cheek roasting. The author basically just turns the volume of his rhetoric up to 10 while he shouts obscenities from his apartment…
