Luke, do you know if Sony and Microsoft have confirmed their pressers yet? Do you think Microsoft could also bow out of E3 given their May 21st Xbox unveiling?
Great points. E3 is definitely losing relevance, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I'm perfectly happy getting more timely updates directly from hardware providers and game companies.
My main reasons: It wrote the book for seamlessly blending gameplay with story, had the most realistic and likeable co-star (Alyx) of it's time, and the gravity gun still might be the best game weapon ever. Plus, Half-Life 2 made zombies cool in games well before the zombie bandwagon arrived.
Is it just me or was Zynga's acquisition of OMGPOP the beginning of the end for the company? The $180 million purchase was followed by a mass exodus of daily active users from Draw Something within a month, and 6 months later the company was in freefall.
I prefer deep cuts from MC Hammer's discography. You don't truly understand his brilliance until you've heard masterpieces like "Crime Story" or "Pray".
Pre-order complete; achievement unlocked. This will be great mounted on my wall in the living room.
Ordered two of these bad boys...I am guaranteed at least 2-3 ugly sweater parties a year and one sweater does not cut it
The wispy mustache also helps to highlight those lambchops.
I thought Phil Fish was an arrogant prick from his comments prior to the release of Fez. After playing Fez, I now think he's an arrogant prick who's a fantastic game developer.
I love me some Adam First radio...fire up the Psychedelic Furs!
E.V.O.!! Loved that game growing up. Cool concept for leveling by "evolving" different body parts of your character.
+1, the judges will also accept Bryant Gumbel or Wayne Brady
Oh god...they wouldn't, would they?
Clearly it was a Carnival cruise ship
In light of Capcom's recent unveiling of Ducktales Remastered, I approve of this money bin JPEG
Is it just me, or were Tim Turi and Luke Plunkett separated at birth?
Remember the parts in Indiana Jones when they have the map montage showing where Indy is traveling? It's the same concept...a visual way of showing how epic and badass the adventure is.
I feel like this game is Microsoft trying to stuff a game with as many "me-too" features as possible in hopes of finding an audience.
