Dear Cliff,

Like most games, the Hitman series can really benefit from the next console generation because of the increased computing power that you can allocate to AI.

Discuss amongst yourselves: are Japanese RPGs not getting weirder every year?

I really hope 343 doesn't feel like they need to stick with the exact same Halo formula. I think this franchise can have huge benefits if they took a few risks with the gameplay. Six second jumps are so 2002.

Absolutely, the last 5 seconds still cracks me up. I was actually finishing college at USC the year G4 ran this commercial and my brother and I snuck into the LA Convention Center to see the last 3 hours of E3 on Wednesday. Most people were leaving by then but I got to play Chronicles of Riddick: Butcher Bay demo and

Bow and arrows....so hot right now

For all those wondering if Valve can make a profit on F2P, check out the graph showing Valve's revenue after TF2 became free. This was shared at this year's GDC by their lead programmer. Revenue tripled.

I'm still laughing from this comment, haha

I believe Sam Elliott is credited for the mo-cap work

I have -2 intelligence after reading that comment ;)

Take that, Dyack! Stop trolling Epic and get focused on making a game people care about.

Kirk, I'd give you my Flame Shield to defend against message board wrath, but I already salvaged it down to components.

How long do you think it will take the game industry to get through its current identity crisis of console vs. mobile/casual games? Do you see aspects of these two areas merging together or moving further apart? For example, will we see more "freemium" games in the console space?

That's my line!

Zeni Max owns Bethesda and there are shared resources between the teams. You're technically right, the point I was trying to make is that Todd Howard is an incredible game director/leader and that is the most important success factor for big budget games.

This proves the assertion that it isn't Bethesda that knows how to make a great Elder Scrolls game...it's Todd Howard and his team.
