I think the reason Nintendo bucks the trend is that their target market is more casual gamers who are less inclined to follow the resale route. Most Kotaku readers understand how you can save a lot of money by flipping games and buying used but less knowledgeable consumers (casual gamers) don't follow that path as

I'm a big free-market supporter so the idea of restricting used sales doesn't appeal to me at first thought. If I'm unable to resell my games, I'm going to buy less games unless they reduce prices. The games industry is in a huge transition mode right now and I don't think the current model with $60 console games is

"Officer, I don't remember going above 12 parsecs around that corner."

How did you end at that conclusion? The article is only talking about some execs selling additional stock...it will have no effect on the global economy.

Will the 1.3 update include Greedo shooting first?

If I can find a way to fit Michael McDonald into every week's 'Shop Contest, I won't hold back!

It sounds like this game is in good hands with Jake at the helm. Between his obsessive interest in the subject matter to working under Sid Meyer, he should have the chops to pull it off. I am really interested to see how they pulled off line-of-sight in this game!

No, but Crytek is good at making sequels that have worse graphics than the original. Wait for that.

Can Peter Molyneux please be part of the next 'Shop Contest?

After looking at his art, it makes me realize how much concept artists influence moviemakers. It's crazy that so many of those iconic Star Wars staples came from his mind. And most of these drawings were used as exact shots in movies.

I had too much good material for only one 'shop
