I can’t imagine what kind of person sees a women giving birth, and not only doesn’t call an ambulance, but also doesn’t help. The nurse just stood there and watched. If there’s any justice, the nurse will have their license revoked and the guilty parties will be charged with negligence or at least sued into oblivion. 

The detail of the absorbent pad particularly enrages me. Like, “hey, we believe you that your waters have broken; we still don’t think you need immediate medical care, even though you’re screaming for help, but here’s a pad so you won’t make a mess.”

For those who think that the lazy corrupt racist orange santorum-covered enemy of the people is the primary problem, and that impeaching and removing him from office will solve the problem, this should serve as a wake-up call. It’s a trap that I sometimes fall into. I have to keep catching myself, and reminding myself…
