Yes — she is a truly kind-hearted person who is just bursting with empathy. Did you see the videos where she bought fish and purchased a spherical bowl (which apparently is disorienting for fish)? She was legitimately heartbroken and apologized profusely. And that was just fish! I know she’s hurting now & that makes

Yeah. I’ve argued this a lot over the past few weeks. No amount of change or positive forward progress is enough for these people. Jenna was cringey years back, but she apologized and recognized that and changed LONG before all of this. She didn’t deserve to be harassed.

First of all, Jenna Marbles didn’t do blackface. She had a dark tan when she worked in a tanning shop. Tacky? Yes. Blackface? No. She had that tan in every video at the time.

From a People headline today, Justice Smith (who was amazing in The Get Down!) came out as queer and had this to say about BLM and the inclusion of gay & trans folks in the movement:

The Muppets have almost always been way ahead of the status quo.

Notice also how all these people demanding transwomen be removed from “single-sex spaces” are never encouraging transmen or many non-binary people to be included in them, or when demanding transwomen be removed from women’s prisons as an “assault risk” to straight women they don’t demand cis-lesbians be removed either.

As someone who has a tiny human, Yes that’s actually Elmo’s dad and he’s not a main character but does make occasional appearances

It’s past midnight, I’m enjoying some very nice Devon cider oh and JK Rowling has finally gone all out attacking transpeople during pride month via the “you must menstruate to be a woman” bollocks that also defines ciswomen who’ve gone through menopause or had a hysterectomy as no longer being women in her eyes.

LOL I may or may not have worked on Glee and this is just spectacular.

Also, I’m not sure I’d call the wig-shitting threat a *micro*aggression. It seems pretty dang aggressive.

Right? I was like, that is such a bizarre thing to say to someone. Like if someone said that to me it’d be one of those things that I’d never forget until the day I died because wut?

In NYC, where I live, elections are decided by the Democratic primary, in which 10% of eligible voters actually cast ballots. It is like this in other large cities too. The tiny pool of active voters lets real estate interests and police unions control the results, usually in favor of incumbents who talk a good game

I read this whole Twitter thread and Alex Newell and Yvette Nicole Brown chiming in is what made me realize it’s all true. I don’t believe I’ve heard anyone say anything good about Lea Michelle. It was a good read.

Thank you for sharing this with everyone so we can better understand. I'm sorry you've had to go through this and still continue to deal with the repercussions.

would these “medical professionals” have advised them to do the same thing?”

Yes, this reminds of my sister, who had to give one of her adopted children to our parents (she has trouble conceiving). He’s fine by himself, but that poor child, born into an abusive family, goes wild if he can’t have all the attention. It was causing a lot of stress on the family and they didn’t know what else to

May all of their bio children grow up to be radical queer atheists.

Fuck her husband as well. She didn’t do this on her own, and he has monetized content too.

I agree that Stauffer is insufferable - the whole branding of a family for bucks has never seemed like a healthy thing in my mind. However, I am glad Huxley has a new home. If you’ve never been through the adoption process, you likely know little to nothing about it. The bottom line is the life of the child. Every
