I didn't go to any gay clubs there, but I did go to, like, four clubs in Roppongi on my last night in Japan. It was fun, I got super wasted, the French friend we made that night (François!) ended up unwittingly making out with a Filipina trans girl, my friend ruined his new suede shoes by dropping McDonalds coffee all

And don't forget Fat Apollo as one of the low points! Which was during the really great occupation arc, but it came out of left field and was abandoned just as quickly. I distinctly (and probably incorrectly) remember Apollo going back to his hot body after a single episode.

I hated Tigh for so long on this show. As in, I sincerely thought he was a completely incompetent idiot during the first two seasons, and could not understand how Adama could keep him as his XO.

Brazil is a really interesting country in my, admittedly biased, opinion. The closest comparison to it, to me, is the United States, as both are new world countries with continental dimensions, full of immigrants, deep ethnic diversity and really similar political systems. Only nothing works quite as well here as it

I just remember absolutely everything about that game bugging the hell out of me. I made it all the way to the last dungeon before losing all my lives and giving up on trekking all the way back to the dungeon and accross that stupid bridge. Now that I think about it, it's still the only Zelda game I haven't beaten

São Paulo is a really cool city. Like New York, but bigger and dirtier. My main issue here is that basically all my time is spent at the office and that I don't have a lot of friends living here, as I'm originally from another city further South. But you can find and do anything here, which is exciting.

Yeah, Brazil has the biggest Japanese population outside of Japan, so Japanese culture is hugely integrated here. São Paulo even has a Japanese neighborhood, kinda like Chinatown only Japanese (it's called Liberdade, and it's pretty cool).

I actually saw him again last night, but didn't have too much to say about it, other than that it was really fun again. But since you want an update, here we go!

Then settle your eviction shit and come down. Summer is about to start! Someone mentioned the possibility of working as an English teacher abroad, and I think that's something you could look into to do for a year in Brazil, if everything else goes wrong.

At least then everyone will know about my monster dong!

I like Tinder way better than my short experience with OKCupid. And you don't have to worry about building chemistry, it happens by itself. And you mentioned your dealbreakers, but that also varies a lot as to what you are looking for. If seeking something lighter and more casual, I would really counsel you to let go

Pro-tip: do not get drunk and listen to I Dreamed a Dream from Les Mis seven times in row.

In retrospect, I'm glad I left relatively early like I did because otherwise I probably would have been too tired to go out with Hot Muscle Dorian guy the next day. Also, it was the first time ever my friend was a mess with alcohol, and he said he was really glad I was around to help him out (which made my heart grow

Ugh, I feel you, but I am managing to get better. Cutting off contact completely still bothers me, but it has made me think of my ex much less, as has been meeting new people and going out.

Sorry about that! Maybe he's just unconfortable sexting?

Oh, getting rejected sucks, but it does get easier. And I think it's important to allow yourself to know what it is that people do like or not like about you. I'm not the best example to follow because my fear of rejection (and sexual confusion, too) led me to years of celibacy before I started getting over myself.

No Thanksgiving in Brazil, so last week was just a normal week. My parents did cook a turkey for a thanksgiving meal back in my hometown and sent me pictures, which sucks because they never did that while I was living there. And I love turkey!

Okay, the blowjob was mostly a joking suggestion, but the asking him out part is serious.

Go ask him out! He can blow you while you study.

I'm currently going through every 007 movie in order and, though Spectre was far from the best, I think you're seriously underestimating how bad a lot of the earlier movies could get. Roger Moore's movies alone are (with a few exceptions) far, far worse than anything in Spectre.
