Coyotes definitely indeed do jump over walls and fences to kill animals. I had a friend who lost a dog that way (in a fairly urban area, but with a canal behind his house, which served as some sort of wild animal highway), and my boss had his dog bitten in the side yard as well. That one survived.

Agreed completely. This jacket won’t work. We have many coyote where I live, and pets are regularly their victims. I know someone who’s Rottweiler was killed (120lb dog) by them. Don’t think your large breed is safe because they are big and tough. Nothing is tougher than a wild animal. People should never leave dogs…
