That’s pretty cool. I can relate, I’ve really taken to the N word myself. I know the majority of society treats it as if it has a negative meaning but man I just feel like I can do anything when I tell people I’m a N*@##.

This is an extreme example, but creating individual meanings for language and mentioning it as if

Well at this point I’ll step away from the subject, as I’m honestly ignorant of the academic definitions of many political terms and groups. However I will say, I find it hard to label Antifa as a “violent” group due to the lack of non-partisan reporting of nearly as many instances of actual destructive events

I’m saying that I think that’s where I would prefer it eventually end up rather than trying to squash it altogether or let it fade out on it’s own. But hey! today you have met a person who has seen it applied to extremists on the left. Now go forth with new knowledge and handle that as you will.

Don’t get me wrong. Anyone who seriously uses the term SJW immediately gets under my skin.

That said, I’ve heard it used by people who in fact are very not conservative. The term is taking on a larger meaning, in the same way Alt-Right has, lame as that is. This shouldn’t be denied simply because one disagrees with why

I kind of amended my views in a later reply of the chain, but the short version is that’s why it’s not great to act as if a group of many particular sects is easy to give any concrete definition to.

I honestly don’t know, but wouldn’t anarchists be considered centrist, or altogether beside the traditional political systems? So lumping them in with liberals/the left wing doesn’t add up either.

As a liberal to (what sounds like) a liberal, your comment and worldview are much scarier and destructive than any of the conservatives I know.

Why you would be in favor of strengthening stereotypes that only serve to make people think less and feel first is beyond me. There is no positive outcome of thinking in such

I honestly don’t really care about that side of things to tell the truth. I think Antifa has been spun in the media just like many other things, so ok, think whatever you like. Antifa isn’t a movement in the same way the Alt-right is, it’s a specific group that leans a certain way politically. So we’re already talking

I can even say I agree with you a bit after thinking on it more as far as the headline goes. To sidestep such semantics it should just be called more specifically what it is, Alt-Right views. Let the individual decide if that means “conservative politics” or not.

I think the Alt-Left/Antifa is kind of a different beast seeing as it only started as a response to the rise of the Alt-Right. In other words, it only formed as part of the escalation of extreme politics; unlike the Alt-Right, who were always there but just didn’t have a name as a collective (i.e. Nazis, the KKK, hate

I see your point, but I think it’s a bit disingenuous to act as if it’s completely different. After all, have you met a “liberal” Alt-Right person?

SWITCH or Die Trying.....for Xbox.

.....leave it to this, the year of our lord 2018, for someone to want to make a Xbox game starting with “Switch” after the Switch became a thing.

The specific thing that makes me not like it in Burnout rather than other open world racers is the emphasis on crashing.

Not only do you have to navigate the web of streets, but avoid traffic around every turn on top of that? Frustrating as hell.

I was EXCITED AS HELL until I saw it was Paradise and not Revenge.

I really hate open world Burnout.

I think everyone can agree misogyny goes much deeper than violence.

Ah I was thinking from the “it’s all on SD cards” point of view, forgot the Switch is pretty locked down.

Does anyone know if you can transfer your save from the WiiU versions? I was working on my second Bay2 playthrough and would be happy to finish it on the Switch but don’t want to replay the game 1 1/2 times to have the best chance at the harder difficulty.

A. I did.

Has anyone else noticed that these are all female faces? Maybe the face mesh for female models needs to be looked at. (Only going off of this article of course, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn there were plenty of male examples too.)

When it’s time to dig into my backlog, as someone who wants to play the best that video games have to offer (in general and to my personal preferences) I try to delegate time towards games that I can have conversations about or experience something new in. Even if I know I’ll probably enjoy a game, if I feel like I
