I’m not surprised. I figured that adopting an approach similar to what Marvel does would prevent a complete missing of the mark like with the prequels. There are just too many creative voices for things to go too far off track. And even if one of the movies disappoints, they can instantly respond to criticism and move

If only there was someone here to tell me whether or not the prequels got initial positive reviews as well. Oh well, no one brings up the prequels anymore I guess.

I enjoyed it. I’m glad that they seem to have an actual team of X-Men this time. This looks like this will be the first superhero film in a while to have a team of superheroes fight a team of supervillains and not endless hordes of cannon fodder.

The real question is will the first issue of Civil War II come out before the final issue of Secret Wars?

I would be okay with them not crossing over if this was something they were vague about and fans kind of just assumed everything was connected. But that is not what happened. They advertised that everything, including the Netflix series, were very definitely connected. So backing out of it now is just in poor taste.

Yeah, I don’t see what the big deal is. If you really wanted Kojima at the awards show, you have Luke Skywalker there. Just send him to to rescue Kojima and blow up Konami HQ. That’s kind of his thing.

Considering he is making the Justice League movie and the rumored villain for that movie, I’m thinking not.

Yeah, everyone thinks this is Batman’s nightmare, but I’m going with the rumor that this is Wonder Woman’s vision of the future and why she gets involved.

I agree. It is going to ebb and flow just like everything else, and many people couldn’t care less about superheroes in any form. That is totally cool. But thinking not liking superheroes makes you a better person is so silly. Just move on and find something you do like.

The only problem I have with this show is the execution of the action set pieces, made all the more frustrating by the phenomenal job done on the Flash and Arrow. At times it feels like they just throw all the extra money they have at a scene instead of really thinking it out. Other than that I’m really excited by

When do people like you recognize that not liking superhero movies is a sign of just having different tastes in entertainment as people do and not a badge of sophistication that gives you greater insight into the wicked capitalist machine?

Unless there is a change in rights issues, I’m hoping for a version of the Masters of Evil to take over for Thanos, as pretty much all the villains on par with Thanos in terms of quality and power are with Fox.

Nothing should be a cool as Cap and Bucky giving Tony a tandem beatdown. It looks even more awesome than I thought it would.

If nothing else, it is going to be an amazingly beautiful movie. The battle shots are breathtaking.

That guy is amazing and I want to be his friend.

This is great news. It looks like they will have an extensive line-up like Justice League Unlimited and Young Justice, plus it will probably have a lighter tone that everyone apparently thinks the DC heroes need. Hopefully this announcement means that we will see some preview art or something this weekend at New York

So stupid it’s brilliant.

Exactly, with few exceptions, no one wants to be smashing up a damn cereal cafe. They want to be at home, not worrying about being homeless or being driven from the city their family has lived in for generations. Destroying property is not right, but right has very little to do with what is going on in London and

The amount of classist snobbery in the replies is amazing. The people that own a cereal cafe are apparently working class heroes and the people that smashed up their store are “outside agitators!” I’m impressed that I saw that argument pop up here. There is nothing right about anything in this situation. People are

I’m hoping that they bring on multiple companions when she leaves. I never had a problem with Clara, but I really liked the dynamic of two or more people traveling with the Doctor. Despite the mystery, I seriously doubt that she will leave before the season finale, leaving the Doctor alone to hang with River Song in
