The facts that they never announced her regaining consciousness, nor that she’d gone into surgery to repair damage, were both red flags. I had a sliver of hope, but in the end I think the last days were so her family and friends could get there if they were able.

This is sad news, especially for her family. My only hope is that her last days were not painful and that she did not suffer when she passed.

All the cool people are leaving and being replaced by fucking assholes.

Motherfucker. I usually try to avoid that kind of language, but motherfucker. I was hoping, probably foolishly, that when she stabilized there might be some improvement. Damnit.

I feel so very sorry for her mother, Debbie Reynolds.
