The production headlamp clusters have big lenses that go over the headlamps themselves. The finished turn indicators will look different from this car and the concept. The finished product looks virtually like what was running around in Transformers and at autoshows all over the US.

Yes, it's the same V6 with the same tuning used in the top-level Cadillac CTS.

I'd like to see the circular turn indicators return to it's face like the originals had. The indicators on the current model are fine but don't look as good as they could have IMO.

That car wouldn't get a passing glance unless it had some nice flower or teddy bear rims.

Crushed? Actually most of them probably rusted away or fell apart. My folks bought one new and to this day my father says it's the worst car he ever owned.

No, neither is a real "truck". They're both still modified cars under the metal and being cars is the majority of their appeal, none of the usual truck drawbacks like crappy handling, abysmal fuel economy and terrible performance.

I considered buying the current model when it debuted a few years ago and being instantly put off after the test drive. The media photos made it look nice but in person it was trimmed with shiny hollow plastic and many of the panel fits weren't even. Driving dynamics were terrible and it had a surprisingly jittery

@TRAMS_AM: I currently own a GTO too and am looking at a G8, Challenger or this car to replace it eventually. Feel free to poke this one around and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised, remember Holden did design and engineer this car.

It's still one of the best looking affordable cars on the road.

Of course it is.

Easily the best modern muscle car interior you can get, even better than the G8. For a niche of car that's never been about the interior this entry is looks trimmed and retro-stylish.

What NBC was trying to make wasn't Top Gear, it was a shameful, dumbed-down ripoff. One that would have never held a candle to the real thing.

GM had planned on producing a RWD Impala there off of the Camaro's bones but that plan has been nixed and the redesigned Impala will remain FWD.

@TRAMS_AM: I drove a BA XR6T in 2004, I'd be tempted to kill numerous people for a new FG XR6T or FPV F6. The Aussie turbo mill is as powerful as it is sublime, shame the Aussies are losing it to Ford's upcoming turbo V6.

@The_Finn: The reason the Falcons aren't sold here has nothing to do with the Mustang.

Because the rest of the world makes their own Fords for themselves.

In my opinion this is one of the very best Mustang models, not to mention one of the rarest. The fact that many of them will have scratches, dings and other visible wear only adds to their character for me. I'd love to get my hands on one of these.

Station wagons or any car with a flat-loading floor is classified as a "truck" by the government/EPA/etc. The Magnum is a "truck" to them and this car would be no different.

Will it be as sparsely populated as it's dealers are of customers?

You can't throw a rock without hitting a Magnum of any kind here. They consistently sold nearly 40,000 per year, more than the excess capacity Holden has to build G8s of any bodystyle.
