Pro tip... keep an eye out for stray receipts in the parking lot on your way out and scan em’. I’ve gotten $20-30 in returns on these since I’ve started. Not that I go out scouring the lot... just grab one if you happen to pass it between the door and your car.

1. Atlanta really does have great food and it is hard to go wrong. There are strong feelings though about the “best” of anything, burgers, bbq, pizza, etc. Find what fits you best.

Isn’t calling it a purse gendering it as much as calling it a man-bag? Just call them all bags (the gender neutral term) and be done with it.

It’s less powerful than the Anker, has one port instead of five, is plastic instead of aluminum, is less flexible because you can’t use different length cables, only charges USB-C devices, and is more expensive.

Absolutely. Decline politely. The more you say, the worse off it is for you. Especially if there is some issue after you exit (they don’t pay vacation, there is a dispute on hours, etc.) anything you say can be evidence for them in a lawsuit or arbitration, or just a followup meeting to resolve issues.

Well, dedicated headsets still have a ton of advantages. Like I said in the article, aside from some of the most pixel-packed phones, most phones are lower-res than a dedicated headset (for reference, the Oculus has a 2160x1200 display). And as we’ve mentioned before, phones that do have displays with higher

People have got to stop freaking out about voting for the President.

Let’s just hope they bring back dark theme. They had it in Beta-M, but left it out at launch. I would really like to go back to the days of kitkat where i could look at my phone in the middle of the night without being blinded.

$1/mo is a no brainer. $2/mo is a possibility. More than that and I’ll pass. It is just a bookmark. All of their sharing and offline reading is crap. most of the time I have to open in a browser to see images in the article, and I don’t want a social network for my bookmarks.

If you read the article on TechCrunch right now, it explains that the premium account was more of a push to other brands to provide to users, and less about selling to the users themselves... which is a relief to me, because $45/year for this service is a bit much, and I’m a huge supporter of it.

I wouldn’t mind paying, but their pricing is absurd for what it is. I pay $45/yr for Evernote and that gives solid value for what it does. Bookmarking is not worth $45 to me, not in the least.

If the ads get obnoxious, I’ll just save article URLs to Evernote for reading later.

Who do they think they are - Intuit?

LOL. Fantastic might be too strong of a word. There’s not even a way to view your report, net worth, can’t manage payees etc.

Do you work for them? You have to be joking 4 new features 20 removed! It is a rushed release for the subsciption gravy train

Can we get a refresh of the “Five Best Personal Finance Tools” for 2016? There’s been a lot of movement with Mint, YNAB, Personal Capital, Buxfer, etc. since the article was published in 2014 and I’m curious to know what Lifehacker thinks.

Since I have about 3 TB of media to backup, that would come to 0.005 * 1000 * 3 = $15/month. That’s more expensive than CrashPlan’s unlimited plan. So I think I’ll stay with that.

If you use Amazon Cloud Drive then technically at the 1TB range B2 is the same price. Less than 1TB B2 is cheaper and more than 1TB ACD is cheaper.

Ahh back when games actually had bug testing and the programmers actually tried to ship a quality product.

I think there are plenty of other people in the world for me to draw experience from who didn’t feel the need to abuse and defraud people, thanks.

I live in rural South Carolina. My only option for "broadband" (note the quotation marks, please) is HughesNet which is satellite service.
