When I was a young idiot I made pretty damn good money (or so I thought) waiting tables at a chain restaurant. When I was 19 and making $600 a week working four days it seemed pretty great. Then I had a kid and wasn't living in an apartment with my best friends that all worked with me and became a grown up and learned

You. I like the way you think.

I automatically love your BFF.

When my mr and I started dating I was a broke ass single mom of two working two jobs and he was a stable and well employed guy with a fairly good amount of disposable income. It was weird for me, I had never dated a guy who wanted to spoil me before and there were times it led to conflict. I was very independent and

I'm a BB nerd, it's interesting this season because they added a new element. There are two HOH every week and then a Battle of the Block where one HOH's team wins and he/she becomes the main HOH. It's pretty interesting to see that element added.

I desperately want to use that as a doorstop at my house.

I love the OG and I hate anyone who bad mouths it! It's affordable and edible and the salad makes me all kinds of happy and the bread sticks are my favorite kind of carb addiction. I'm genuinely happy to read this and see there is no snark and a genuine appreciation! Yay!!

Aww, lol that stinks that it isn't a great name. If mine was something odd like Winifred or something I would have been more hesitant but I have a classic and pretty timeless name.

Thanks! I'm going to tell him he got interwebs kudos!

Food truck food is my favorite food!!! It's my best part of bein an old going to college, I have the disposable income to eat food truck every day and it's incredibly yum!

Thanks! He gets it from his momma :-)

You can do it!! And try and remember that in volunteer and such situations the people tend to be way nicer than in average population. Don't forget if it's awful you can fake diarrhea and leave :-)

My knuckle dragging ex told that same thing to our teenage son. My son of course smacked it down and explained to hi that if it was so cool why were LGBT at the highest rate for suicide in their teen and early 20s?

Keep reaching out. And have you thought of maybe starting a new interest or hobby to meet new people? Maybe volunteering or a book group or something?

Well that sucks. Enjoy SATC and pretend you are watching with friends.

My two cents is to ditch the 3 day program and let your kid be more in control of when she is ready to potty train seriously. Talk it up and try it out. I have two 15/10 and the oldest was more stubborn and wanted to be in control and took longer, the younger told me at 13 months she wanted to go and I thought she was

I've been on and off meds for the majority of my adult life. I used to struggle with taking meds, seeing it as a weakness or fault of mine. After a lot of therapy and a really great GP I now recognize that my brain chemistry is just broken and it isn't for lack of trying but I will probably always be on meds.

I have my daughter my middle name for her middle name. The way I see it she will most likely marry and take her husband's name someday but she and I will ALWAYS share a name. I'm hoping she passes this forward too.

Because I was a wild child I married and divorced twice with a kid from each. About a decade ago I finally got my head out of my ass and married a GREAT partner. We have his last name. My kids each have their father's last names. In short we are family of four with three last names and no one blinks an eye at school

I think it usually comes up when I am talking about pop culture or trash tv (that I boldly and proudly watch.) I'm a 37 year old mom of two but I refuse to act old or boring just because I'm smart and interested in complex sociopolitical matters. I can debate the Israel Palestinian conflict and which housewife on
