I don’t think it’s much of an “evil wins” thing in horror flicks...sure, evil is present in one form or another, but the struggle against the ghoulies and beasties (both internal and external) is the driving factor of horror. Sure, the antagonistic force may very well not be defeated forever, but hell, such is life.…
