This. 100%.

It’s not even close, as much as I hold Spider-Man 2 dear (I still think I'll like it better than Holland's latest), Spider-Verse is exceptional on like 20 different levels.

The “What’s up Danger” scene is a thing of pure, unadulterated beauty.

Hm. I still vouch for The Incredibles as best superhero movie ever, but the case can certainly be made for Spider-verse. And that says something obvious about how animation is really the better medium for superhero stores than live-action. See also: Batman: The Animated Series and the Justice League series.

On the contrary, this is the best season the show has had. Fucking bangers, each episode has been.

I think you might be watching a different show than the rest of us. The good news is, it’s not like someone’s holding a gun to your head*you’re totally free to just change the channel/website and watch something else.

Beer? I thought the guy was drinking Coors Light?

I’ve spun this 6 times today.  It’s the fucking tits.

Only if you view production and music as separate entities. Generations of music have been rescued from mediocrity by top-notch production, and it can be very enjoyable to listen to well-produced crap (like Journey or Smashing Pumpkins). Listening to an okay song to enjoy the production isn’t the most satisfying

If it’s a MASTERWORK, give it a full fucking “A!”  What is it with A.V. Club that nothing... NOTHING ever gets an “A.”

“Wow, politico are such jerks for making people at LOTO look like rubes. But, yeah, they’re rubes. Just don’t have to say it out loud, Politico. That’s rude.”

Ugh, yeah the George Clooney remake was way better than this. Way more fun and entertaining. Also didn’t have a morality tale slapped onto the end.

That seemed like a pretty full-assed apology to me. He didn’t actually say anything (Unlike Cannon), he apologized for not doing anything more to confront it, he accepted responsibility, and expressly condemned anti-Semitism. Short of a trip to Yad Vashem, I’m not sure what else he was supposed to do.

Won’t someone think of the McElroys?

The next episode of MBMBAM will be Griffin just weeping quietly for 40 minutes.

Very rude of them to do this while Griffin McElroy is on paternity leave and can’t grieve.

That was pretty much exactly what came to mind when I first saw it. The very fact that Baldwin’s impression got under Trump’s skin so thoroughly in the first place was itself a good enough reason to put up with it all this time, in my opinion, and if this is a final “fuck you” to the fascist, all the better

Who the hell shows up here to post some lame shit like that? Bad form, dude.

I can’t imagine anyone but these folks being their characters. Because they’re their characters, y’know? I spent so much time with those voices in my head that it doesn’t work without them for me. Could professional voice actors voice everyone else? Yeah, definitely, and I want that. I want to hear our roughshod boys
