I like Nolan movies. I want to see this movie. Nevertheless, WB can huff my nuts on this one. Your movie isn’t worth putting people’s lives at risk for, you dumb suits. Even if we get a vaccine soon and it’s safe to go to the theater I’m going to wait and pirate this movie because fuck y’all.

At this point I’m starting to think the AV Club is avoiding King Princess on purpose for some reason.

Man there’s a certain sort of breathy female vocals that seem to be really popular in indie pop these days, and it just doesn’t do much for me.  It’s pretty, but it’s almost like my brain refuses to process the lyrics and I just hear a sort of droney mellotron flute noise.  

Yeah I heard he was left with hours of dramatic slow pans over wilting flowers and Iberian hams that he never got to use, along with at least five minutes of story.

There’s an amazing 10-12 song album here, but those tracks are buried in some of the worst stuff VW has ever done. It’s like Ezra wanted to start a new side project that combined the worst attributes of modern radio country with the sort of lame whitewashed afro-pop sensibilities of a direct to DVD Lion King knockoff…

This season was a hell of a lot of boring high-minded monologues delivered in front of arty backdrops and maybe ten minutes’ worth of actual plot. I’ll give season three a chance, but if it’s more of this I’m out.
