You have more faith in the buying public than I ever could, and for that, I commend you.

To be completely honest, there was a time when my low-end PC sometimes not being able to run sloppy PC-ports well despite meeting Minimum and Recommended settings was enough to get me to consider it at times, but with Steam allowing refunds now, it hasn’t been something I’ve considered since. I never did actually…
Comparing Wii Fit’s success, a game as a piece of software designed for a gaming console, concepts people definitively understand and tie to Nintendo, to a standalone product not tied to gaming is a bit disingenuous. I imagine if, say, Kodak decided to make a dishwasher they’d have trouble moving them. Why? Because…
I think they’d be wise to do business under a subsidiary or another name, though. I think general consumers would be baffled by a Nintendo Sleep Sensor (in North America, at least), but with a different brand to sell it under, or a partnership with a known quantity in that sector, it could definitely do well.
100% definitely getting Cloud........ and probably at least 90% likely to get Bayonetta, but we’ll see. It’d be cool to have something small added into Bayonetta 2 for the amiibo as well (a costume, perhaps?), but I doubt that’ll happen.
That video started slow, but once Zelda came in...... I just don’t even.
Meshed with what they did with the demos for indies this last year, even without a major presence at E3, it’s possible to still have annual “events” without even needing E3 at all, making big announcements, and allowing the general public to actually check games out. I feel like that’s really the way to go.
If I recall correctly, PS4 has console exclusivity for some window of time. It’s still coming to PC (and I remember at some point iOS...? Maybe not anymore, though) at/near launch, but I think any other console version(s) will be coming at a later date. Not sure when, though.
I can say that after having two levels removed and unable to be reuploaded in any capacity, I was pretty furious. I can see removing levels with low popularity, but treating them like banned levels and permanently destroying my ability to share the level again is plenty worth questioning. That said, I happened to make…
Holy shit. I didn’t even see him in that picture.
If they wanted to get creative here, they could use her hair as a form of support, kinda like how they did with ink for the squid Amiibo for Splatoon, but if it’s her new design, that’ll be a bit more challenging.
I’m only awaiting Shovel Knight, Cloud, and Bayonetta Amiibo for me to be done getting them for the foreseeable future. There’s some I’d like, but none that are too pressing. Definitely excited for those two new fighters to have their own Amiibo, though.
I think the term is used incorrectly in this case, but I think there’s a common thread in being disappointed about finding out something you didn’t want to know early. Like the quotes posted in the article, I think there’s an element of wanting to be excited about something, regardless as to what that something…
Really? Weird. I really liked him. One of my favorite people on the site along with Evan and Fahey. That’s a bummer. Wonder when/if we’ll hear more about this, if ever.
In this case I really did think it was a huge overreaction, but Nintendo got a ton of bad PR for not having same-sex relationships in the game, and allegedly responding badly to the idea:
Man, that Tanooki Suit powerup looks like it’d break the game in that state (I know it’s a demo). I’m guessing they couldn’t get the running meter working right, but in that form, having that powerful would let you fly indefinitely, taking the challenge right out of it.
After the reaction to Tomodachi Life, I think it’s safe to say Nintendo will be on the cautious side for all releases in the foreseeable future. They don’t want to deal with sexualizing children just a year after dealing with that. As the “family friendly” company a reputation for releasing games that sexualize…
I think the idea that we can flatten the values of cultures across the globe to the point that one set of cultural values should be expressed everywhere or else it’s considered “censorship” is a bit extreme. I personally have zero issues with these changes, and given the optional nature of some of it, I’d have been…
I feel like a tool even as I type this, but wasn’t FF7 on 3 discs, and 8 was on 4? I will be interested to see where and how they try to split the game up, however.
