Yeah, they should do the American way. No healthcare, no sick leave, no vacation, no family time. Grind out till you’re laid out....amiright?

I also highly recommend the combo of eastwood internal frame coat and the rust encapsulator platinum. The REP hardens like a rust proof liquid plastic. I did a lot of research on it vs Por15 and felt it was the winner so I started using it, but just my .02. When I’ve had to remove some to weld, its been a pain which…
Hey Tom, I love jalop and love your articles, but I always get a bit tilted when the “I’ve got lots of extra money and need advice” posts come out. I guess I’m just jealous because I don’t have 200k to play with, but there’s also a class warfare element at play here that’s undeniable. The idea of helping out a guy…
Lucid Dreaming is incredible. I used to be able to do it regularly but its gotten much more rare these days. I also tried a tea called Calea Zacatatichi (sp?), also called Mexican Dream Herb. It is legal and safe as far as I know (and as far as I experienced). It tastes horribly bitter, but didn’t hurt my stomach. I…
What’s the current total population of EVE? I’ve never considered playing but I love reading about it.
I’ve owned 2x Subarus, a 2005 Forester and a 2005 WRX hatch. My WRX went about 130k before it was starting to burn some serious oil. At 100k the power steering pump exploded. At 80k (and just out of warranty) the speedo sensor died which was a $20 part and almost 3k in labor because the tranny had to be removed. All…
This is a real down-market version of the ferrari/lude scene from Wolf of Wallstreet
Does the down-rating have anything to do with the cost to insure?
For me personally, randomization kind of kills it for me. This was the main reason I couldn’t get into Warframe. The procedurally generated maps just get boring. I would rather a static world, so that if I’m grinding a level I can become more efficient at it as I make subsequent runs.
Articles like this are why I love Kotaku
Great article, I always wondered about this! Sleeping on a queen bed on the interstate is pretty sweet though.
David, you need this for your Moab party bus next year!
La Croix is great because it begat so many competitors. I love La Croix, but I’ll drink most of the seltzers. I never drink soda anymore. I work in the movie biz and these are life savers on set and help offset the coffee gut-rot you can get trying to stay alert through a 12hr day.
That’s awesome
This would look awesome encased in a resin cube
You make a great point
I mean, its physically there. Stunning would be a stretch. And that curb is about as rough of terrain as that thing can handle. I own a 2012 Rav4 and its my most hated of all the cars I’ve had. And I’ve owned a 98 chevy Malibu.
I love weird cars, but I think ya’ll are crazy celebrating the Rav4. I guess I’m biased because I own a 2012 Rav4 (albeit a newer gen). My wife wanted it... Its a rattle box with only 90k miles. Its got all the audio panache of a U-haul box truck full of loose metal shelving. EVERYTHING rattles and groans.
Wow, how on earth did I miss this? I thought your comment was a little hacky with you saying Sean Astin and energy drink tents, etc. but I owe you an apology.
I believe in you David! Love your adventurous spirit. Make sure those brakes are safe, but at this point you HAVE to make it. You’ve come this far, and I know you can do it.
