Hahaha you’re the bad guy in your own fake story. The truth is you parked your big obnoxious truck in a handicap spot and got yelled at again. Then you thought it would have been a better story if it were a liberal in a Tesla at a charging station instead of the Walmart door greeter.

I bought a 2005 WRX wagon 5spd new and drove it for 11 years. It was a great car, and a beast on the windy Santa Cruz mountain roads where I lived. The road noise was indeed awful.

Manmade climate change is real and the coming economic costs will dwarf any profit that a de-regulated market could ever provide. Arguments about the proven hoax of trickle-down economics aside, the ignorant part of this country is the greatest enemy to our species survival. De-regulation gets us poisoned water,

Capitalists who make grave errors end up enriched by a system that rewards position over performance. They leave a wake of destruction whilst personally enriching themselves setting up the next round of “race to the bottom” economics where wealth gets consolidated to those who already have over and over and over.

I would expect as much from a pissed off white guy. Always been a friend of uninformed white guy and votes against his best interests white guy. How those tax cuts treating you? Have you filed yet?

Came for the comments- was not disappointed

Some good advice mixed in with some bad. He takes an “easy neighborhood stroll” coupled with a 5k camera and 1.5k lens. This is a bit of a silly video. “Getting low” doesn’t automatically get you a beautiful image, nor does the Leica. The mediocre photos he gives as an example are a good example of that.

I grew up in Fremont, CA which had a whole host of weirdness going on. Niles canyon was an epicenter of sorts. Local lore included the Teddy Bear tree, Secret Sidewalk, Underground military tunnels full of tanks (possibly connecting to Lawrence Livermore labs). The high powered burning laser hitting people on 680 in

You’re confusing Malibu with Paradise. The “Town” of malibu is not burning. These houses are in the hills. California is a big place and has multiple fires. Check out a map when you get a break from posting here.

Maybe we can agree a bit here. Some of these properties shouldn’t be here, sure. A bigger question is should we save florida or new orleans when the waters rise? Most places in the US have some sort of natural risk associated with them, being under sea level chief among them. You try to live as in balance as you can

Look Greg, you found a friend! Together, your armchair firefighting abilities are exponentially increased.

According to your name you live in NY. I’m pretty sure NY doesn’t have many wildfires. How do you even know if these firefighters HAD a water truck or a hose of any kind? Use your expert photo analysis skills and you can see there is no water anywhere in the photo. They may be on foot, doing what they can. Bottom line

“Exposure 2 2nd floor” guy doesn’t like your hypothesis. He also doesn’t read the news or know where Paradise or Malibu are but knows what’s up. His fire suit is stuck in storage so posting here is the next best thing.

Again Greg, why are you posting on here when you should be out fighting the fire. I’m serious man, if you know so much get out there and help! You also have an incredible talent- looking at a single photo and determining events that occurred before it was taken.

Get your gear on Greg and get out there then! Post pics so we can see your amazing wildfire triage skillz

Where did all you idiots come from today? Just go away. You clearly don’t understand whats going on here, how fires work, which fires are burning and how difficult the job of a firefighter is.

Your previous comments have already established the quality of human you are. I think you’re also on the wrong forum.

Greg, do you REALLY think there was a give and take here??? The two options were likely - let it burn and make more fire OR save it and have less fire. The house was likely a goner. These firefighters are out there risking their health and lives. Let them do their job without your armchair fire management.

All of the idiots coming out of the woodwork on this one. So let insurance claims go up, making your insurance incrementally more expensive is the superior choice? Let it all burn is the dumbest idea I’ve seen on here all day. Burning begets more burning. Firefighter’s job is to contain fires and prevent loss of life

So watching it burn, with all of the flammable liquids contained within it, was the better choice? I’m guessing you don’t know a thing about what these brave people should or should not do.
