Does this mean we can call up Netflix and haggle them down to a lower monthly bill. Not hurt in trying, eh?

@Norbs: Both dollars are about the same in value. A CAD is about 96 cents to a USD.

It's all about tea for this fellow. I'll take my proper Earl Gray (Canadian, UK, or Irish origin) in the morning. Brew to a boil twice, and drink that bad boy down. Though I do have my chai's for occasion. And always, buy the leafs loose and store them in a teabox.

This is just sad, I don't care how many people say "Look how stupid he was!" or "Let Darwinism take it's course!" No 12 year old child deserves to die. It's a terrible accident caused by ignorance of proper education. I'm sorry mates, but have some heart and humanity.

I'm not a religious person, but I find the tone a bit off. Sorry Giz, but there is no reason to be so sarcastic when it comes to talking about one's beliefs, it's a deeply personal subject. Write about what science has proven, but there is no need to shove it in a Christians face and mock them for believing in

Chrome for me, even though I missed the poll. I tried out Chrome when the beta came and I fell in love. The switch was made, and I never looked back. I love the interface, I love tab management, silent updates, and I love the synchronization. It's a truly awesome browser.

I send perhaps two texts in a month, but hold several phone calls for over 5 minutes. I'm 19 and in college, and I find texting highly annoying, rude, and distracting.

I can agree with you on this one. For me, it's all about having a stationary desktop to sync devices with, host a web server, and do your work on. When it comes to mobile computing, the only task I ever need to do is word processing and perhaps writing an e-mail or two.

B&W has some awesome models under 1k that are bookshelf speakers. Personally, I buy used. You can get yourself an old pair of Klipshhorn speakers for just around 2k if you know where to look.

For music, I haven't been able to find something quite as useful as Subsonic for syncing across the home, and on the go. Put the client on your computer and you've your music library anywhere you have access to the internet. And their are apps for both the iPhone and Android to tune in. Best of all, you can stream

I don't know, JBL's have been quite dominate throughout the late 80's and into the 90's. Not quite sure about today. Still, they are popular speakers, but there are also a lot of other ones that have sort of become standards amongst types of music. These are used for as you've said, rock music, while I know people who

Gasp! Buckaroo Banzai didn't make it on the list!

Well all I can say is if it gets me where I need to go at a very reasonable price I'm all for it. I can deal with small places.

@OMG! The Niteman Cometh!:

Great article for people looking to get the best out of their PC. However, I don't quite agree with saying that three monitors is key, two is fine, or one behemoth of a monitor. It all comes down to pixels, not just monitors for multi-tasking.

Wow, that's crazy! It's both amazing, and a blessing that only 42 of the lot of peoples where injured.

@chaboud: I would too, that's a lot of waves leaking that nuke box!
