Apple's Time Capsule. Not only is it a router, but it also functions as a network attached storage drive and a home for your backups over wifi. Easy to use, and with an attractive form factor, its got everything I need. It works flawlessly every time.

If anything, this will DISCOURAGE ISPs from bandwidth limits. They get away with those bandwidth limits because 90% of their uses will never get near them. If everyone's downloading 3-4 13gb patches and 1-2 40gb games a month, that's going to be a real problem for the common limits.

Here's an easier way.

They all come with pre-paid envelopes. It costs these companies more to have that envelope returned than it does to send the mail out.

Simply take their letter, write across it, "Remove me from your mailing list" and send it back to them in their envelope.

Pixelmator. I signed up for the recent bargain-price for Photoshop CC/Lightroom 5 deal, but I still use Pixelmator for quick fix-ups. The price is right and it's very flexible and talented. Highly recommended.
