Agreed. I work with about 8 to 9 GoPros professionally, both Hero and Hero 2 and even if this was on the timelapse setting, no way getting 7 hours with it. Even with the extended battery back.

I would also say, under knowing a quality mechanic, see what tools they are using. Quality mechanics use Snap-on, for the most part. They are expensive tools, but they last a lifetime and mechanics that invest in them want the best tool and the best way to fix your car.

I drive from Madison to Milwaukee everyday and back for the last year or so. It's about an hour and change depending on Milwaukee traffic (a.k.a. someone crashed into someone else or Brewers game day).

Agree 100% with everything. I do it the same way using Flickr for my DSLR stuff and Instagram/Twitter for everything else. I do use Dropbox as a storage area for all the phone camera stuff, though

Thanks!

Thanks!

What did you use for a ripper, btw?

I listen to them on my 1 hour commute each way and in the gym. The Nerdist, Comedy Bang Bang, This American Life, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, Smodcast, Hollywood Babble-on, How Did This Get Made, Primetime Podcast.

At first, back in the day I was looking for a universal remote that could control my 5 disc DVD home theater to no avail. Now a days, after cutting the cord, I use my PS3 as my media center for Netflix, hulu+, Amazon Instant, etc. But, the PS3 is controlled via bluetooth and the PS3 media remote is great, but it

That and maybe the whole technology for time travel came from the advancements made to fight in those wars.

Now when you say "Patent Troll", all I can do is think of this:

I tend to listen to audiobooks and/or podcasts, so even though I am sitting there, at least my brain is waking up and absorbing new content. I have a commute of an hour and change so this helps pass the time and isn't too distracting.

Glad to see New Glarus Spotted Cow was presented to you!

I guess the real point of this article should be is if consumer's are ready for 4K video in their home. Not "Canon's paving the road to a beautiful super-high-resolution future." There are a lot of companies out there paving the road to 4K video. The problem is that the professional video/film camera market is just a

Agreed on the RED part. RED Scarlet is out there for a little bit cheaper body. This body is more $$$ and just like any of RED's cameras, you have to buy a lot of gear around it to make it awesome (lenses, rigging, audio, etc.). Not much argument is saying that RED Scarlet can't take still pictures but 1D-C can

1080p is like megapixels on the latest generation of cameras; it doesn't matter. 1080p signal only looks as good as what bitrate is behind it. Blu-ray is around 36MBs to 54 MBs. In contrast, vudu is only 8 MBs for the their HDX format, also a 1080p signal. I'm not too sure what the new Apple TV is, in use with h.264

It is the same way with True Blood now, which sounds better than The Sookie Stackhouse Novels. Better to just say, 'Oh yeah, the True Blood series."

I cut the cord over a year ago using my PS3 as my all-in-one media center with Netflix, hulu+, vudu, and other services. I even tried the MLB channel for a while. The key is that our media bill with all those services (Charter Internet, Netflix, and hulu) is now less then $100 a month, which is great. We also use the

I have a iPhone 3GS that's about 2 years and 5 months old now. A few months ago, I noticed that the battery was significantly dropping off, not lasting a day. Now that I have upgraded to iOS 5, battery is working way better. Figure that one out.
