Says it will be a nightmare in headline. Provides no nightmare, or even mildly negative scenarios in article.

I think its less than he doesn’t understand them, its more that he outright hates a lot of the ideas behind these characters. He flat out has stated he thinks Superman is stupid and that he makes the kind of movie where Batman could be raped (what EVEN the fuck). He is a cynical, dark minded person who sees hope,

I think Batman is more about redemption than justice.

Man of Steel: “Whoa, look guys, Supes had to snap the villain’s neck to save this dumb family who wouldn’t move - isn’t it terrible and traumatic doing the right thing? Isn’t being a hero awful?
Me: *gestures angrily to the entire metropolitan area he just willingly and casually helped destroy without helping to save

I still say his sin is putting pseudo Randian talking points into the mouths of the Kent’s. That is so fundamentally not who Ma and Pa Kent are/were and if you don’t understand them you will never understand why Superman does what he does.

He really isn’t Miller just didn’t get Batman. Batman is all about Social Justice and giving people second chances to turn around their lives. Batman is something he created as a Boogeyman, but most of his important work is done by Bruce Wayne. Creating jobs, making programs that get kids off the streets, giving jobs

I think that the big issue with Watchmen is mimicry without understanding.

This right here!!! The DC heroes are more like archetypes for people to look up. Snyder doesn’t get it or runs it through his Ayn Rand worship and we end up with...

Having seen it twice in theater - just to see if I this fancy new 3D thing added ANYTHING of value that I missed in 2D to help me understand the hype over it - I can say Avatar has absolutely Zero re-watching value.

Growing up, DC heroes always seemed closer to pure heroes than, say, the X-Men who always came off as real people with real problems/dramas compounded by superpowers. Superman as the ideal of courage and self-sacrifice for the good of humanity, Batman as the silent avenger working behind the scenes to stop crime,

Molson Coors’ products interfered with my ability to get drunk already.

There could be a 100% shortage of anything from Molson Coors and it would have precisely zero effect on my ability to get drunk.

Hey, it works for Rick Sanchez.

Knocking down e-ink displays because it plays videos badly is like being upset the newspaper you bought doesn’t come with a headphone jack.

They were testing browser compatibility. Zach Snyder is best viewed in Edge.

Great!  Now there are THREE ways to make it break!

“What if the Powerpuff Girls were sorta fascists and fascism was sorta awesome?” -Zack Snyder

Isn’t that called Sucker Punch

Is Professor Utonium’s first name Martha?
