I love that you did your damndest to make sure I and everyone else know this wasn’t going to be a toxic post. Seriously. Good on you for that. Glad you like destiny 2. Everyone has got their thing. Glad you got something that brings you joy. As for me, I have tried many different multiplayer games, and just Read more

That sounds about right.  Like I said, it was a long time ago.  I do seem to remember the keypad in the car, the rest is kind of a blur.  I was 18 at the time and a freshman in college.  Lots of other things for my brain to absorb.  Jesus, that was more than 30 years ago...

I hope that happens in 6 months, not 10 years. Maybe a little longer because trials take forever and lawyers tend to drag them out, but the sooner they are obscure footnotes, the better.

NO! I’m agreeing with you!!! Ha just kidding.. Yeah, didn’t mean for that to sound adversarial.  I was just agreeing.

I don’t play destiny. I don’t like multiplayer games. Also, I don’t have computer new enough to play it. As I said, it would have to be a last years game but with a current machine. If my machine is from more than 3 years ago, obviously I can’t play it. The computer I referred to in my post was a 2012 Mac mini Read more

I had this game as well. Didn’t remember it until I heard the audio “From my vantage point, it looks safely in the fairway.” How could I forget that? or the slightly sarcastic “looks like he... hit the tree, Jim...” finally, the “Ooo...can’t be too happy about that one...”. Classics.

Right?!  I mean they have been doing this exact thing (minus the super powers) for decades.

The original shareware of Wolfenstein came on one floppy, and when (spoilers) the boss at the end said “guten tag! I died almost instantly because I was laughing so hard.

Heroes by definition shouldn’t kill. They should save lives, not take them. If a hero has to take a life to save lives, it should be treated as a hollow victory. That’s just common sense. Especially for a kids show. Also, yes you are too worked up by my comments. Relax, breath... we are just discussing borderline Read more

Can we dispel the myth that you can’t play games without a discreet graphics processor. Sure, you aren’t going to be able to play the latest AAA games, but I played Dishonored on a 2012 Mac mini via bootcamp and it played fine. Sure I didn’t set the graphics to ultra and I may or may not have played it at 1080p, but Read more

Yeah, I know. You didn’t think I assumed the laws of physics were changing in relation to my age, did you? I just used a little poetic license.

That’s my point. He shows no remorse for having to murder a guy in the street. Not exactly how you should write a hero. If the writers had just had him knocked out, that’s one thing, but he killed a man, and made a joke about it. That says psychopath to me.

apparently... no. What’s weird is that I looked for that earlier today just to make sure I wasn't missing this function already being there and it wasn’t there.  I think I just had clicked on a single episode instead of the show title... anyway, thank you.  I will now use the shit out of this function.. that Read more

No man, he murdered that guy. Pretty callously too. Making a quip immediately after. No sign of remorse. Heroes shouldn’t kill. Especially in a kids show. Maybe in the eyes of the law, it could be considered “justifiable homicide” but it’s still murder in my book. Especially considering that it’s fictional and

I remember it ONLY for the fact that it was the first time I heard sampled audio from my computer. I think it was some kind of text based detective game with some graphics. Kind of like Oregon trail. But I can’t be sure. It came out 31 years ago, so remembering the name is a triumph for me.

Plex is simply the best media player and library organization tool I have ever used. It is on every platform I have ever come across. Every smart TV, streaming box, phone, tablet, or dongle. I can set up my library and access it from anywhere in the world with internet access. I was once at my sister’s place with her Read more
