How could it hurt? She is super popular right now and has a ton of support. How in the world could having this smart, popular young congresswoman supporting a bill hurt it in any way?!

Forgiveness is not a virtue this man possesses. I feel sorry for him and inability to move on. It’s just a movie. Petty vindictive revenge like this is is just sad and actually makes me feel sorry for the other guy.
But they did build to it. Arya literally spent her entire arc from the first episode to be an assassin. She learned sword fighting, how to sneak around undetected, and how to fight in the dark. The final blow was even foreshadowed last season. But the way film editing works is if you don’t show something, it…
This is some made up bullshit. If they wanted the story to be this, the editor would have showed something pointing in that direction, but there is nothing. Like the reverse of chekhov’s gun. They didn’t build to it, so it didn’t happen.
Great minds think alike... and so do we.
Thats what I’m saying. The knock-off is more Trek, than Trek.
Maybe so... but Discovery is weaker sauce.
Where the fuck do you work?! The white House?
Only 141 more days until this terrible, terrible league starts up again! Woohoo!
This needs to be on Seth Myers show. This is the kind of story we need right now.
Totally wrong. The Orville could easily keep pace with TNG. Also, DS9 moved on to higher forms of story telling?! Are you high? It fell in to the trap of Babylon 5 in becoming a bit of a soap opera. Anyway, Orville is more like any version of Trek (except the Jar Jar Abrams movies) than Discovery is. Come on,…
They have toned the comedy down a lot this season.
It has it’s problems, but still a better Trek than Discovery. Maybe Discovery will do better next season. At least they got rid of many of their biggest problems in this finale. Don't get me wrong, I like discovery, but as for the way Roddenberry envisioned the future, Orville is much closer.
ST:TOS wasn’t really about space wars and conflict. It was a metaphor for life in the 60's and the Cold War. They told morality tales. Living by certain ideals and winning because of those ideals. That was what Trek is about. That’s why Orville, even with it’s dick jokes (which have been toned down a bunch this…
I agree, but it has gotten a LOT better since the beginning. Also, have you noticed all the Trek people on the show? Marina Sirtis being the latest I think. Cast by the Director... Johnathan Frakes. Even the actors know it is a better Trek show.
She didn't create the wormhole until she was out on that chunk of space debris with Spock in the shuttle. She totally could have hitched a ride with Spock.
Discovery has been doing everything to reset their awful take on Trek since the middle of last season. Ham fisted explanations of why they don’t have holograms, silly explanations of why nobody used a spore drive again, Klingons are growing their hair again... Now they are hitting the reset switch on their biggest…
They have toned that down a lot. There are still some goofy comedic moments, but it is seriously more like old trek than Discovery. You should give it another chance. There is a reason why all the old Trek actors are showing up on Orville instead of Discovery.
ST:TOS had some pretty cringe worthy moments too, but The Orville is more along the lines of the original vision of Trek, than Discovery.
