Honestly, Digital distribution for PC's just makes sense. I personally can't wait for the brick-and-mortar market to completely collapse for it.

Wow... Just... Wow.
If there's anyone I've ever suspected of being guilty of this, it's definitely Apple. My 15'' MBP (last gen, pre-unibody) has once again had its internal power whatever die out me for the second time in a year. The last time this happened, it also fried my battery health. So... $200 for repair, $150 for a new…
Looks nice. Won't matter if it still feels like crap in your hand though. They've got style, I'll give them that much. But their phones feel cheap so far.
@Variatas: Thank you for telling me everything I already said, and clearing up other things I already know.
I wonder how much CG, makeup, and $$$ it took to make Jeff Bridges look that young again. Unbelievable work... I'm wowed on that alone.
@smot: When dealing with PR speak, you should always be questioning "the man's" motive, unless you're incapable of intelligent thought and just like being told what to believe. An entire industry not only exists but flourishes upon spinning information in favorable means.
@cbytes: I'm saying their environmental concern is bullshit. All they have to do is explain the Xbox would need to be at full power pretty much constantly, and that it would not sit well with consumers. Instead, they skirt around that topic, and say it's because they're concerned about the environment.
@JJ Gagliardi: There's an option you can turn on that allows Microsoft to periodically sent voice samplings back to HQ to "analyze background noise" and improve their reading capabilities.
@drno31: Nope. The Xbox does now scream "Don't fucking touch me! I'm reading a disc! What the hell is wrong with you??" though.
@dantheman12: Audio that is output from the console is automatically canceled out through filter processing. As far as the Kinect is concerned, it would be like it never heard a thing.
I'm not buying it. They won't give us the ability to turn off the Xbox by voice command because they're concerned for the environment?
I find this extremely hard to believe.
@Kellen Dunkelberger: 10-12 feet away? You think their houses are that small?
I wonder what happens when a kids mom walks in the room and says "Turn that Xbox off"...
This would be hilarious, if it probably wasn't true!
Makes sense to me...
So... Macbooks with USB 3.0 next year.
Wait... $4 each per pellet, or for a pack of 4? Per pellet, you're actually paying more for the privilege of doing the mixing yourself.
"While I agree that a lot of the checks seem unnecessary, I still think they're worth doing. It doesn't add too much extra time to a journey, and quite frankly I'd rather be safe than sorry. I think a lot of us would."
