I'd hazard to guess it's only been in MN for at most a year or so, because, you know, that whole 25-year rule thing that you may have heard about. . .

I'm just going to assume that you meant to reply to another comment, as I don't recall mentioning Houston.

If this happened on a toll road, there should be video from the vehicle going through a toll plaza just prior. Should make it easy to solve this mystery once they get a hold of the video feed (assuming it had plates attached prior to the accident).

One of my female friends named her Civic "Beyoncé" because her car is "black, beautiful, curvaceous, and from Texas." I didn't have the heart to tell her that it was actually built in Indiana. . .

This is normally where I would step in and defend Texas, but . . . you're right. You're absolutely right.

Agreed. The Rothmans livery used on various Porsches in the 1980s was fairly iconic as well.

Fair enough. I was just trying to hassle Tavarish though.

So did I (almost): 1982 Olds Delta 88 coupe, aka the Rolling Living Room.

Props to you sir, you're ahead of the game!

Slow your roll son, you're going to run out of challenges!

Agreed. Tavarish needs to do one better and actually locate the cars while they still reside in a barn, and then provide a treasure map of sorts to us.

I'm sorry, I can't stop picturing that front air dam getting mutilated in grotesque ways on various rocks, tree stumps, etc.

The newer Caprice is known as the Caprice PPV, or Police Pursuit Vehicle, no?

I'd vote for the SS in that unorthodox shade of green/grey, with a 6 spd manual of course (going off of the assumption that he is amenable to an M/T due to interest in the WRX). Something about that color really makes the car look more upmarket than it actually is. Very classy.

So I have been told (now)! My mistake, I was oblivious to the change. I guess the upgrade only makes sense, given the market.

Agreed. I'd fork over the cash for a print of that too, say 2' by 3' . . .

I might have missed something, because I honestly don't keep up with year to year updates on the Transit Connect because I'm not a plumber, florist, etc., but don't these come with a FOUR SPEED AUTOMATIC? As in two gears short of your average contemporary automatic and literally half the ratios of certain

But it's hard to have a unique opinion when facts get in the way, so they just ignore them.

True, but that tire is pretty small . . . its basically the equivalent of a space-saver spare.

That shifter seems remarkably similar to the shifter in an E65 7-series. I worked at a BMW dealership in the mid-aughts for several years, and even though I was in and out of those cars constantly and drove them extensively, the shifter would still throw me off every once in a while.
