Can we get over the "X will hurt the Republicans for years to come" thing? Trump's candidacy was supposed to do that. George W. Bush was supposed to do that. The Contract With America was supposed to do that. Changing demographics were supposed to do that. And so on, and so on.

I'm glad you brought it up. Technically, of course, it was a compromise (which is why it's called "The 3/5 Compromise"). The South wanted them counted. The North didn't want them counted. They compromised.

On the bright side, in some of these countries the white nationalist party is explicitly condemned by all other parties. They would need to get a majority on their own in order to have any real power.
In theory, yes. But in practice, all of the people who would be effecting that change will be disenfranchised. (In fact, all of the people who could have effected the change THIS election were likely disenfranchised, as well.)
