They’re laying the groundwork for the backlash and desperately hoping a Rolling Stone UVA moment happens. As soon as it does they will be all over it like flies on shit for months until that is the only name people remember a year from now.
That’s the thing: notice the “dark times” he’s referring to aren’t those of women being sexually assaulted (as this article seems to imply at the end of the Piven section) - no, the “dark times” we’re facing are because “allegations are being printed as facts.”
He’s gotten so much hotter as time has gone on. I could probably handle being in the same room as this version of him but if I met him in his current form I might pass out.
Couple things, Jeremy Piven, you little creep:
The internet is so good at taking a good thing and seeing something bad in it anyway.
OMG. He did some truly horrible shit as a kid. He has not done horrible shit as an adult. Those of us from the area know he has done and said things privately to try to make amends, and the man he attacked has forgiven him. Can we let it go?
That’s a hard question. Mark served time and hasn’t re-offended so you could say that he’s been rehabilitated. I believe we have to give people a second chance after release, otherwise what’s the point of even trying to change?
This puts the $32 million settlement in a whole different light. The plaintiff probably had a really strong case, likely to win in court, and BillO was willing to pay a very steep price, out of his own pocket, to keep this out of the courts.
So this seems like it would be pretty useful in a lawsuit claiming that Fox News created a hostile work environment. The fact that the clause is in there is clear evidence that they knew people were being harassed and never intended to do anything about it.
This is illegal, right? This has to be a huge violation of employment law, as well as a potential discrimination suit since it leaves women he works with in a vulnerable position.
So how does this work? Essentially you are saying, “I’m going to be doing a lot of sketchy things and most of it involves sexually assaulting and intimidating my co-workers. But you can’t punish me for it. Agreed?” and the person on the other side of the conference table says, “Sounds good to us! Welcome aboard!” …
Here in 2017 a consensual extramarital affair seems almost quaint and charming.
I prefer to think of it is a witch hunt where the witches are the ones doing the fucking hunting.
Oh my god! This is the Massacre at Bowling Green that Kellyanne Conwoman was talking about! She can see the future!
That’s what my money’s on. Cubans are so lost, it’s sad.
This reminds me of that story on conservative, Trump-supporting Sikhs who actively contributed to Islamophobia. My dude, racists don’t care about your self-imposed labels—they’ll treat you as they see you.
She sounds like a peach. Funny how a lot of Christians fail hard on the “judge not” stuff, huh?
She’s being a total asshole. The menu throwing in Iceland sealed the deal for me. I cannot “handle her sparkle” and want nothing to do with her “rainbow.”
I couldn’t put my finger on why o disliked Lydia so much last time she was on, beyond the fact she’s fake as fuck, but now she’s shown who she really is. A cruel judgemental bastard who looks like she gets off on hurting a person.
