For 14 of the 16 years I heard no complaints and as far as I know few people quit.   I'm not so certain a few complaints makes one a bad boss.

When most people were born, lived and died within 25 miles marrying cousins was pretty much inevitable.

Doing the minimum has always been a way some people work. And it has nothing to do with race, religion or DNA. Sometimes it's the smart move sometimes it isn't. 

For a couple years before Corvid screwed everything up I dropped off and picked up my grandkids at their school and nursery school. There were other grandparents, fathers, mothers, fathers and mothers together, and baby sitters doing the same thing. Nobody got a standing ovation.
