The potato is central to my culture. When planning a meal my grandmother first thought would be how will I prepare the potatoes. Dishes like green beans and ham or chicken bot boi have potatoes in them. The potatoes aren’t mentioned because why would you, you just assume they’ll have potatoes in them.
