GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE MORT

This wasn't the first episode for the writers to push our collective Linda tolerance to the brink. In fact, they managed to do it twice in the span of a month back in season 4: I Get a Psy-chic out of You and Gene It On. Idk if they were actively trying something new with her or what, but that shit was awful. They

"I can't believe you're getting married, Bob!" *sobs uncontrollably*

They stretched Linda's characterization far beyond the breaking point for this one, but there were plenty of laughs and some meaningful subject matter to go along with it. Plus, the B plot killed. Teen-a-Witch remains my least favorite episode of the season because Tina's ending speech on the runway was so

Keanu Reeves and Common punching each other while falling down a neverending staircase is something I never thought I would see, and it was every bit as hilarious as it sounds.

"Is the show going to be more than just adorable though? Will there be an actual story down the line? Will the characters develop, like Gravity Falls"

The episode was cute and enjoyable. A bit better than last week, but about a mile or so behind Bob Actually. I feel like more investigation into the case should have taken place; it seemed a bit absurd that virtually every revelation occurred in the courtroom itself. Also, the B plot wasn't particularly well

Esoteric references are kind of Gene's thing. That and voluptuous women.

Funny enough episode, I enjoyed it all the way through. Didn't go anywhere because the episodes involving potential windfalls never do, but there weren't any really false notes or bad moments to dock my grade significantly. Feeling a B+.

Yeah, TNCG was amusing, but it felt like a throwaway, especially compared to this one. The ending didn't quite land, but it was gorgeous and added something to the canon of the show. Definitely better than a B. It was pretty shocking to hear all of that resentment come from Steven.

That was such a wonderful episode. I loved the direction (the last minute of the episode + the credits made for one of the finest stretches of animation they've ever done), the characterizations were on point and actually delivered some gutsy, real progress, the jokes were funny as fuck (romantic and dangerous…like a

Yeah, I would have preferred if AV Club had just called them a bunch of white supremacist assholes in the title and gotten it over with.

I knew this was going to get the highest score of the arc. It's got a musical number, it's pretty badass, it expanded what little we knew about the diamonds, fine. Really good episode. To me, Steven's Dream takes the cake though. Really excellent pacing and atmosphere in that one. Very mysterious storytelling and it

This is one of those episodes (like Mr. Greg and Alone at Sea) that's fantastic at 11 minutes but could have been an absolute masterpiece at 22. I find it terribly disappointing that they spent the extra time on Gem Harvest and not on fleshing out one of their most exciting premises in a while. Even though every

Underrated episode. There are some pivotal moments in here that are necessary to understanding the gems (have we had an episode that laid out just how much the gems themselves can progress under the influence of a human being?) and plenty of humor. A- for me.

If the writers are worth their salt, and I'd say they are, I'm sure some changes will occur eventually. I used to think that BB was on the brink of cancellation, but a number of Fox staples are growing long in the tooth and it wouldn't surprise me to see BB go on for another 3-5 seasons or more with it functioning as

They may have. It could have been a phase the writers went through during the production of season 6 and now they're on to something else. Or they're trying to de-emphasize the significance of any one of her romantic interests by spreading them around, which would make sense considering she's a 13 year-old.

I mean, there's been plenty of character progression over the years. Compare season 1 Tina and Louise to season 6 Tina and Louise and it's night and day.

I've found this season pretty forgettable so far, but this episode was easily among the highlights to date. This was a strange premise but they really did something amusing and productive with it.

Surprised by the score differential so far. I thought Large Brother was fantastic but Quirkducers was extraordinarily odd. Not sure in a good way or not.
