They aren't Camrys, you can't completely ignore them and expect to get 850,000 miles out of them. Porsches have been finely crafted machines for a very very long time and if treated properly are extremely robust (moreso in comparison to their direct competitors). After tending to several I have a soft spot and can

This franchise, just like it's [original] target audience has grown and evolved. Like many I was in my mid 20's with a "tuner" Civic complete with NOS when they debuted, and it resonated, it was (and remains) pure cinematic fun to be taken as such and not revered or over-analyzed. By the time it rebooted (4) I'd

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about

My first car, I miss that thing!

Griffin Bluetrip Bluetooth Adapter from Amazon - $54 - screw the CD player (my cell phone mount is using it's slot, it's never seen a disc).

No, that is a "whale tail" - what you are referring to on the turbo is called a "Tea Tray" (it had the sides that jutted up).

FWIW you can have a bad experience anywhere. Our local Lexus dealer ticked me off so badly I actually wrote a letter to the corporate headquarters to complain about it. (never before, never since done that) It reflects poorly on the brand and absolutely can color a person on that company's cars but it is not

There is a time and place to heckle or concede to the purists, THIS isn't one of them. This is simply overpriced. I have no doubt the current owner has quite a bit more sunk into this. It's a nice looking car, this swap has been mapped out a BUNCH so it's even possible it's well done.

It's Stanced!

+1 - First thing that came to mind was a Gremlin, nice car, seemingly nice price but I wouldn't rock it.

Having to choose I'd take the 993, I'm scared of the early 4's drivetrain complexity and potential for detonation. But if the 994 was a 2s for $5-7k less it would be NP all day long.

the point was this is far from an insignificant trim package of sticker add on's. You don't have to like/want it to acknowledge it was "special" in the same vein as a GT-500, a Yenko or a Superbird. I'm not remotely a muscle car guy but these are hard not to miss to anyone that calls themselves an enthusiast (and

I've owned (and loved) both. The S2k is a fantastic car, the AP1's are extremely tail-happy, which can be a whole lot of fun if you expect it and know how to handle it. They are put together nicely and the transmission is hands down the best on the planet.

For that money I'd rather go back 5 more years and pick up a reasonably well loved 500E.

1) Hyundais have an incredibly annoying squeal to let you know you left the vehicle [running] w/ the key in your pocket. Pay attention.
