Exactly. Gameplay time ≠ enjoyment derived

This is a whole lot of words that can be thrown out the window with the phrase “this is what reviews are for”. 

This is a bad take.

The policy should be overhauled. Short games get shafted cause you can play through a good much of it in 2 hours. Long games get shafted because you can’t really figure it out in that amount of time (thus refund it before you even know what its about).

I can’t even return things I didn’t enjoy under proper terms unless prompted to by someone else. How do these people manage to take their money back and feel okay about it afterwards?? Hell I feel guilty for under paying on humblebundle when I only want the “1st tier” (generally a very low minimum cost).

This is super shitty, especially since the game is 9 goddamned dollars in the US.

I think if you beat this game and return it you kinda suck. There’s all kinds of ways to find out how long games are. You probably understood what you were getting into.

I hate this stuff. Don’t refund games you’ve enjoyed, even if you finish them and they’re short. Hell, I have MAYBE an hour into Proteus but like...I’m never refunding that game. I loved that hour and got everything I wanted out of the game at the time, it was a delight. I may never play it again, but like hell would…
