lol, what?
lol, what?
I mean, except for the fact that they are fixing it? And it doesn’t matter who’s “fault” it is; cheating is cheating, and it can get you banned.
But no one is ‘breaking a law only after’ because the “laws” in question already exist: Do not cheat, do not exploit glitches in the code, etc. ‘Making optimal use of our bad coding’ is just a fucked up apologetic way of saying ‘cheating by way of exploiting glitches.’
Sorry but not sorry about the language:
The only problem is that this is not how it would be used, and big unscrupulous developers (*coughEAcoughUbisoftcoughActivisioncough*) would sneak this flagged achievement somewhere within the first few minutes of a playthrough without ever telling anyone what it was, preventing people from refunding their full-price…
You are a moron. Games don’t have to be 100 hours or bust.
...lol? No, really, people who are playing the entire game and then getting a refund, *especially* if they claim to have liked the game, are bad people. It’s not as if they’re paying huge sums of money and getting a 2 hour game; Summer of ‘58 costs $9.
These people are shitty people, and all of your attempts to justify…
This could be abused by devs by simply having the point of no return achievement be ‘you started the game.’
No, why? Why fuck around like this? We don’t want some modder’s ‘reimagining’ of the campaign, we want the original campaign. Stuff like this pisses me off so much.
Those prices would have risen no matter what, we’re in the recovery period after an economic slump.. it’s how things work. It’s actually normal capitalism since supplies were low and demand is now returning to normal levels. But hey, a Dem is President, right? So obviously it’s his fault
Also homebrew software and games, those were huuuuggeeee on the PSP scene.
Rampant piracy all-but destroyed the PC market in the mid-2000s
Couldn’t they just sue for $1 and an injunction, perhaps with a clause that if they repeat the offense they go to jail and/or have a real fine hit?
Capitalism is freaking out in general over the way Millennials and younger are doing everything. They’re tired of it, and the wealthy people at the top are freaking out. Ads don’t work, traditional brands and service models are being rejected, people are tired of being paid shit wages, cars aren’t being bought, houses…
they’re trying to justify it by saying that because young people are “cord-cutters”, they’re unreachable via traditional, cheaper marketing
We’re going to go from a video card shortage to a hard drive shortage.
But.. um.. driving it is enjoying it. There is no enjoyment in it sitting in a garage doing nothing.
I mean, what did Blizzard hope to accomplish? It’s already in the wild. They literally can’t stop it now. Forcing two people to cease-and-desist? Yeah, that’ll just cause the Streisand Effect.
They screwed up shooting too with the stupid “reloading” coolant mags thing. One of the advantages of playing a Soldier was the ability to shoot for a long long time, and that was basically erased for what, “cool” factor?
I mean technically you’re running/jogging everywhere, not walking. You’re talking about sprinting stamina, which is something else entirely.
