...but you do so much more with your PC than just play games on it. And, be honest, do you still have your ORIGINAL PS3? Your ORIGINAL Xbox 360? How many times did you have to replace either one?

What? Do you even know what games are on the PC? There are over 3 decades of excellent PC games out there (GOD I AM GETTING OLD). During the first half of that, most of them were of much, much better quality than what you could get on consoles then (and some beat even what you can get now), and they were pretty…
lmao. "Thousands." My 2-year old PC *almost* beats the "Recommended" specs for this game. If I spent about $200 I could upgrade and have a PC that was BETTER than Recommended specs.
I don't see it as playing good. I see it as pointlessly fast and flashy.
lolol, WoW a grindfest. Lolololololol
Uh. Please tell me that all the stupid camera blurring in combat was just bad compression in the video? This game looks... ridiculous. Looks like an MMO for people with serious ADD.
Awesome. Thanks for that info. I appreciate it.
People look at websites like this on mobile devices? I'll never get that. I suppose it's why I have 50% of my screen space wasted by giant empty white space, though.
Note to self - do not invite WDYC to my D&D 3.5 games..
Oooh. I didn't think about Star Citizen. Chris is an old-school proponent of the *progression* of games and pushing the boundaries.
Wow. that's not bad at all. I hadn't heard about ES Xeons. I'll have to look at that.
Ah. Yeah, that'll do it. I got lucky and got an Academic Edition of Windows 7 Pro for only like $65. I also haven't had an HDD die in awhile *knock on wood*
CPU: AMD Phenom X2 965 Black Edition Quad-Core
Mobo: ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3
RAM: 8GB G.Skill DDR3 (I can't remember timings off hand)
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 6970 2GB GDDR5
PSU: 650W... uh.. lol I don't remember
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 2333 23" LCD
I have a scattering of Seagate hard drives that equal about 2TB…
Aha! I understand completely, and was actually talking to people about this exact thing on the ARR forums over the week. I love seamless worlds, and ARR's zoning made me a bit sad. Maybe someday the PS3 will stop being supported and they can do an overhaul of the game to open it back up.
I wouldn't regret your build decision either. It sounds like a great workstation!
Distracting elements should be PART of play, for 'professionals.' The idea that they'd remove distracting elements makes it sound like they're trying to dumb up the game for crappy players.
Does *anything* go THAT far, when compared to Gurren Lagann? I mean, come on. lol
If they were to expand Titanfall to a Planetside or MAG style game in the future... I'd totally play it. Especially if it had some sort of persistent territorial map with objectives to be claimed.
... Xeons aren't meant to run video games, lol. Of course you're going to have troubles. The architecture of the CPU is optimized for a completely different type of processing.
It'd be like showing up at a Formula One race in a semi; both have powerful engines, but one is made for torque and the other is made for…
I'd play with Eyefinity... if companies would make monitors that didn't have bezels.
