My reasons for not liking it are actually more complex, that was just one reaction to a comment I read in the article. I really didn’t like the movie. Neither did my husband. I’m glad you did though.

Thanks! I really am excited about this movie. I’m a bit worried my bias against the director might hinder my enjoyment. My husband also didn’t like Dogtooth, so I’ll make sure he watches this one with me, without telling him the connection and if he likes it and I don’t then I’ll know it’s just my bias.

I want to watch this but this:

In a weird way this reminds me of how my three year old pronounces YMCA as YCA.

You can’t beat Acadia in the summer! There are so many trails and great hikes, for every level of ability. In terms of places to go/eat: Sidestreet Cafe in downtown Bar Harbor is great, reasonable prices considering the area. Jordan’s Pond House is a bit pricery, but go for the pop-overs, they are so good! I’m also

Downeast, near Bar Harbor :)

I hemorrhaged really badly (2L or so) so I was in pretty bad shape, and had a tear so they were sewing me up and getting me a couple bags of blood. My husband stayed with the baby while they got him all cleaned up and weighed and measured and what not, and during that time, finally named the baby.

Hello fellow Mainer! I’m not pregnant yet, but hope to start trying again soon. There is one hospital with a maternity ward about 20 minutes from my house, there is another hospital without a maternity ward 30 minutes from my house. Other than that I have an hour drive to any other hospital in the county. Luckily the

It’s funny, because I had a math professor in college who basically did say exactly what what was said in this comic, almost verbatim, when explaining why he decided to go into math.

Maybe the luggage became this luggage?

After I got married, I changed my name, and my initials then spelled out sme. So I went around saying “Sme, sme, what about sme? Sme is me! What about me?!”

<laughs> I was being a bit facetious, but thanks. I am definitely more courageous than a terrorist.

Actually that’s one of the few horror movies I’ve seen and I loved it because in a way it has an absolutely final ending! World is destroyed by ancient beings of malevolence!

I’m with you. I don’t mind horror when it had a defined end. But I really hate the kind of horror movie (aka ALL of the them) that end with the killer either getting away with it, or you think he’s been stopped only for the last scene to show you the futility of the hero’s actions. I just feel like I never get an

I love all of these, but want to plug one of my favorite live action versions of Snow White:

His brother is Kevin

I would write large strings of random numbers and then either multiply them or divide them. Not in my head (I wasn't that smart) but with long division and multiplication. But I actually do make up my own word problems as an adult, but only when I'm running to take my mind off of it.

Another under the desk reader here. I was fine in 4th grade, my teacher didn’t care as long as my grades held up. In 5th grade they did this thing where we went back through all the math from the past 4 years, so addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, which bored the bejeezus out of me. I would read until

Nutella and diced strawberries for me.

I watched it when it aired, and I was at the prime time to like that whole “bad boy who can be redeemed with love!” thing. And I was an avid reader and so I liked that aspect of him. But now I’m older, and rewatching it, I just can’t take him. I didn’t remember him being SO unlikable before.
