Buttercup’s Baby. We got one chapter which ended on the WORST cliff hanger!

But are they still going to waft Axe body spray throughout the store? Because I can’t walk past an A&F store unless I hold my breath.

The issue is that you said the phrase is used all up and down the East Coast. I’ve lived on the east coast my whole life. I grew up in Mass. and I lived in Baltimore for 9 years. I’m now in Maine. I’ve never heard dipped to refer to scooping ice cream. I believe you that it is a phrase that is used, but I don’t think

Not the same situation, but my parents have been divorce for over 20 years. My mom has dated and even been engaged, but I never really thought she’d get married. The first two engagements ended and I mostly felt relieved that that was over, and I could comfort my mom. I guess I never really believed my life would

This comment still reads like you don't know anything about getting a PhD. My experience is in the sciences, so it's not a blanket statement for all PhDs, but nothing you wrote sounds at all like my experience.

I haven't stepped foot into a Hot Topic in over a decade, but I'm so so tempted to buy this dress. I want a DNA dress so badly, and I love this design.

I have a copy with both signatures. Very special signatures, so I am going to find a way to keep it absolutely safe.

Another Wellesley Alum! Our library is gorgeous!

But my experience is that faculty at top STEM grad programs are looking for research experience, but not necessarily in top tired schools. I went to a SLAC, worked as a lab tech for 2 years and got into a top 10 genetics PhD program. The other students in my year? Came from all over the spectrum of colleges, from

I can understand that. I think that's why he worked as the narrator of Homeland. The protagonist of that book was really annoying at times. I think Whil does a great teen/early 20's male voice (can't do accents for shit though), he sounds arrogant, but when the protagonist is supposed to be arrogant, it works.

If you like Whil Wheaton audio books, check out Cory Doctorow's Homeland. It's the sequel to Little Brother, which you probably should read first (I didn't listen to the audio book, so I don't know who was the narrator, but the book was good). Whil Wheaton did Homeland and I think he did a great job. It's

I hope I'm not the only mom who was excited to go back to work. I love my son, but I've worked damn hard to get to where I am in my career. And I love spending time with him, but he is exhausting; at 18 months, he is a whirlwind of activity and sometimes I need a break. Work is a nice break, I get to do the work

I agree. I don't care what other people eat. Why should they care what I eat (as long as it's not cannibalism)?

Yeah, she's nuts. She went full on kosher in college; prior to that she ate all the lobsters. I just don't respond to her at all these days.

I posted a picture of my son playing with a lobster claw (cleaned out) on Facebook and my aunt* flipped out on me about how lobsters were cockroaches and disgusting, and I might as well feed my son Raid.

I love love love this book. I got it as a present from my then boyfriend (now husband). The first night I read about 15 pages and put it down. The second night I thought I'd read another 15 pages before bed. 4 hours later I looked up and realized that I was 2/3 of the way done and it was now 3 am. So I shrugged

Me too! Although I wasn't expecting my son's name to make the list. The alternate did though. We really liked the name Mason, partially because my husband (prior to be being a kickass SAHD) was a blacksmith. But we went with a different name, that was my top pick.

How many lines does she have? I only remember 2, maybe 3? It's barely 30 sec of screen time. I know she probably recorded more that were cut, but still, not a lot.

I can't comment on the racial diversity but body diversity can be a problem in a boat. I was a coxswain for a competitive rowing team in Maryland, and I used to cox for a woman's 4 and a men's 4. The women's 4 were amazing and awesome and go goof that they traveled to Europe to compete. They were also relatively
