If you don’t mind, what are the best ways to react to these kind of non-apologies? It’s something I struggle with, because my inclination is to call out the bullshit, but I also recognize that my extremely hostile response may not be the most productive path heh.

What does HE think crime is if its not that?

I think about this a lot. Having grown up in the midwest and being of the GenX ilk - I’ve known (and loved as family figures) a lot of white male fuckheads like this. It’s SO DISAPPOINTING.

My comment about her statement on crime was going to be “yeah, pretty much”.  What does HE think crime is if its not that?

Since these mediocre white men have failed upwards their entire lives, I’ve found that they completely lose their shit when met with ANY level of polite pushback, for any reason on any subject.

Exactly. The only way to have someone involuntarily committed is to PROVE they are a danger to themselves or others. Kanye is definitely crazy af, but he’s not violent or physically dangerous. Puhlease! If she was so concerned how did this event even happen? You know full well Kanye didn’t organize this event himself.
