Your characterization of the New Yorker’s usage of the phrase “too weak” is dubious at best. Nowhere in their usage of that phrase do they indicate that the basis of that judgement by the Globe is a factual one. In fact the preceding sentence includes the Globe’s requirement that the accuser be identified, which if

“The venn diagram between those who believe Franken was railroaded and shouldn’t have resigned and those who want Biden to get the nomination is a single overlapping circle.”

This “article” is the epitome of bad-taste click-bait-blogger bullshit. It has no value and presents no worthwhile information or opinion. It’s tabloid trash. No one comes to splinter for real journalism, but an article like this just shows how petty and absurd it can be.

I’d kinda prefer you take your own advice instead of attacking one of the few people in the world with a platform, who’s actually trying to educate and make people smarter so maybe this sad dystopia we’re heading for can be averted.

The oldest active fighter pilot retired in 2015 at age 54, so it’s not like it’s out of the realm of possibility compared to probably everything else that’s going to be in this movie.

I played Lancer/DRG from 1.0 through heavensward, then changed to SAM in Stormblood, and then RDM for Shadowbringers. I haven’t regretted changing. RDM is the most fun I’ve had playing the game yet. The only annoyance is having to level up DRG because of my retainers.

This is where I would share my woes... if I had any.

We are completely fucking lost as a country.

Wow. This is almost as dumb as the original article. I hope it gets the same backlash. Shame on you.

I don’t know what it is, but the last 2 hours or so of Shadowbringers, everything Amaurot related, was a uniquely incredible experience. It’s hard to put into words why, but there’s just something about that place and the way it’s crafted and revealed.

Yeah, I am aware of them. Not surprisingly I would say they’re the 2 best as well, but even the people you don’t know are fantastic.

I wish I could watch the reaction of everyone playing at some of the holy shit moments in the last zone.

I hope your final review takes a line or two to cover the quality of the voice acting in this expansion. This is the most comprehensively well voice-acted game I might have ever played. There really wasn’t a bad performance, even among minor characters who only get a couple lines.

Both the last dungeon and trial are incredibly good.

As of now it’s only available for 70-80 Shadowbringers content. I wouldn’t be shocked to see that change though some time in the future.

Man I cannot wait for the comprehensive review of this expansion. I finished the story a couple days ago and it was just so good. The expansion as a whole is a real achievement but the story is tops among those Square has produced.

It’s next level. I don’t think there’s been even close to this level of quality storytelling in an MMO ever before. The writing, voice acting, atmosphere, music, visuals... it’s just all top tier.

Finishing up the main story of FFXIV: Shadowbringers, which is turning out to be the best final fantasy story in probably 15+ years.

The “original Rachel Dolezal” comment is disgustingly ridiculous.

Why should we expect people not to complain about illogical storytelling? There was an objectively better version of events for episode 4 and 5 written in an article on this website less than 24 hours after episode 5 aired. It shouldn’t be possible for that to be the case for the biggest show on Earth written by
