The one good thing about the Browns organization is that they’re compassionate enough to let their players go after just a few years, regardless of the investment in them or the return they get.

I agree. Naming a team after something non-visual puts you at a disadvantage from the start. At least Heat implies fire and you can do something like that flaming basketball, but Thunder has nothing visual, except maybe someone shoving his fingers in his ears.
