Because it’s the right character transformation as determined by propulsive narrative development. It doesn’t have to be “right”—it just has to fit, and it fits. Oh, how it fits! For all of this show’s dynamite shootouts and setpieces, the writers also know and develops the characters extremely well.

Don’t you never say a bad word about Morris Day & the Time!

Wow. Think of what Clevinger would do if Flores did something serious, like insult Morris Day and the Time.

There have been MANY amazing artists on Batman. Some that get a ton of love (Neal Adams, Frank Miller) and some that are a bit underrated (I am quite fond of Kelley Jones’ work).

It’s a well defined system.

What Lucas did can’t be diminished, but at a certain point I think he stopped using collaborators and instead hired enablers and sycophants.

Well, you only need to look at the movies Lucas made without Kurtz to recognize what a vital contribution he made to Lucasfilm’s productions.

He laughs like the waiter who doesn’t want to talk to my dad anymore when we go out to dinner.

I don’t know why people hated Sky High.

You failed to mention the single most annoying part of Batman Begins: the guy in the water-supply control room who Nolan keeps cutting back to, so that he can repeat over and over again that if the train gets to Wayne Tower, the whole plumbing system is fucked.

There’s supposed to be an episode involving the Gang at the Eagles’ Super Bowl later this season. I assume it’ll be a spiritual sequel to The World Series Defense.

Trying to figure out how Seattle coming in affects division realignment and the only thing that makes sense is moving Arizona to Quebec City.

This is the Riddler. An entirely different character.
