someone has a birthday coming up!

Yeah, I mean, who doesn”t great command of the English language?

At ESPN Deportes his job is to provide his journalistic services in Spanish. At ESPN, it’s to do it in English. He did that poorly last night.

There are three football teams in Florida you’ve neglected to mention.

Jesus, Miller, that’s a good point towards Richard Stark and Breaking Bad. That seems pretty clear in retrospect!

Although Walter White is a little...deeper than Richard Stark’s normal characters.

We are all still on the farm. The farm never ended, just as it never began.

Man, that kid getting shot hit me right in the gut. Took a few minutes to get my jaw off the ground.

not to put too fine a point on it, but when the beauty pageant contestants and the comedians are the ones calling out the racist and inflammatory rhetoric of our president and not, oh I dunno, OTHER GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, then there seems to be something deeply amiss with our country

“People with money wouldn’t steal more money” is a bad take. We don’t know any of the evidence and details, so I’m not going to disagree with your point that he might be innocent. But arguing that he wouldn’t commit fraud because he wouldn’t jeopardize his position is silly.

He should have done something less serious, like beaten the shit out of his partner or pulled a gun out on someone trying to buy school supplies at Walmart.

I think this “apology” is pretty lame. “Public figures pay a different price”? You got loaded and did something unlawful. Non-public figures get prosecuted and fired. Fuck yourself.

Agreed. It is also ironic that the military, who ostensibly fights to protect our rights under the Constitution are so often linked to law enforcement. Put another way, law enforcement loves to see themselves as equal partners in the fight for freedom. Its so strange since no less than 3 of the 10 amendments in the
