The caveat is if your character is a black woman in the 1940s the prejudices of the time must be acknowledged. It's the opposite of whitewashing and it's just as bad.

I just rode Tower of Terror this year and had a blast. I’m with you in that it’s disappointing. Disney does “horror” so well and the Tower felt like an extension of the Haunted Mansion. I’m sure the GotG ride will be fun, but it’s sad that it has to replace a great horror-themed ride.
