Whoa - Michael Patrick Jann from The State? Sold.

I think I had the same Batman figure - I was always hung up on Bruce’s turtle neck for some reason. But I always loved the Super Powers toy. As you can probably guess, I had a few Bat figures!

No it’s not that bad. If anything, they deserve props for doing TWD Season 2 in two episodes. FTWD could have spent more time on society’s downfall, but otherwise it’s no more or less then TWD. Biggest set back it has is it doesn't get the comic book love because all the characters are new. In the plus side, you don't

Power Grace Wisdom Wonder

We’re about the same age then - you got me by a few years. Batman has been my favorite hero since the Super Powers days. My favorite all time toy was the Super Powers Batman action figure. When I found out there was a LIVE ACTION Batman TV show, I watched it non-stop. It was fun as hell and I think I was 7 at the

Pretty great.

You are the messiah and I should know I’ve followed a few.

Is it worth it sitting through Spider-Man 3? The biggest reason I skipped out on Spidey 3 was my massive disappointment in Spider-Man 2 and making Doc Ock tragic instead of just an evil, arrogant a-hole. When I started hearing the reviews and reception of Spider-Man 3 I never even bothered.

I am so tired of post-credits teases and scenes. But I encourage a Viola Davis/Ben Affleck post-credits scene in Suicide Squad.

Batman’s storyline will always be problematic for filmmakers because he is consistently framed as a revenge-motivated hero. Once he accomplishes his revenge, filmmakers don’t really know what to do with him, but studio executives want there to be more Batman stories. But in the natural creative process, once Bruce has

I’m old enough to remember the Michael “Mr Mom” Keaton and Jack Nicholson outrage at their casting. I never understood the Batman Returns hate, but I remember the praise from fandom when Val Kilmer was cast as someone who “looks like Batman!”And then you got Acadamy Award winner Tommy Lee Jones, fresh off his bad ass

I can’t think of one instance of fanboy outrage at movie casting ever panning out, especially when it comes to Joker. It’s usually the opposite - I remember when we were all excited that WB “finally got it right” by casting Val Kilmer as Batman and Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face.

I lthink Zahn had written himself into a corner with Jade & Thrawn. Maybe in retrospect it comes off as Mary Sue, but at the time Jade & Thrawn’s finales didn’t feel earned and they both had “outs” instead of resolutions.

Bummer for Lefty. How the hell is he supposed to afford his income tax now? 🙁

I’m probably one of the few that says this

Heir to the Empire was a phenomenal trilogy. Thrawn was an incredible villain, but you also had so many other great characters introduced characters - Pallaeon, Talon Karrde, Mara Jade, Borsk the Bothan, The Noghri, Garm Bel Iblis - and I remember they all felt like legitimate SW characters. I haven’t read it in a

The extra vowel is how you know he’s a clone.

You’re correct - consider me seltzered!

Claire Danes, Homeland

Fuck that. I want the Deadly Ninja Ewok Revenge Death Squad to splash the walls of the Imperial HQ with the blood of 1,000 Stormtroopers. I want them to cook and eat the limbs of a Grand Moff - while said Grand Moff is still alive and watching. Their ultimate goal is to find the Imperial commander chose Endor for the
